Shabby White Pearl Bracelet with the Jewel Loom

Hello everyone!  Today, is my day to post over on the Positively Me Blog for Julianna Hugdgins Design Team and I have a shabby white pearl bracelet that I created using the Signature Jewel Loom kit signed by Julianna to share with you.

The bracelet is a mix of fibers, seam binding, pearls and sequins for a little bit of sparkle.

It was a lot of fun creating a bracelet using the fibers.  Plus the fibers are so soft and the bracelet is very light weight and comfortable to wear.

DYI Infinity Band Candle Holder

Hello everyone!  Today, I have a quick and easy DIY project to share with you using Julianna's Jewel Loom™ and it's sure to bring a little beauty to any room in your home.

I made an infinity band using the Jewel Loom™ and two hole Czech Glass Tile Beads in Light Purple and Pink Peacock with Vitrail finish.  Then I wrapped the band around a votive candle holder and glued in place.   Then I added some flower with a little sparkle of glitter, some tiny acrylic pearl flowers and purple crystals for the center.

Here is a close up of the band.  These beads are so pretty and they work perfectly for a project like this because they lay flat.  Did you know that Julianna recently opened an Etsy store?  Her store is filled will beautiful beads like this, wire, crystals, and the Jewel Loom kit -- it's even signed by Julianna!

Blue Frost and Crystal Beaded Jewel Loom Bracelet

Hello everyone!  Today, I have a beautiful bracelet to share with you using the Jewel Loom™ by Julianna C Hudgins from Beadalon® and gorgeous crystals and beads from Connie Crystal™.

To create the bracelet, I use 4 strands of  Artistic Wire® 22 Ga Non Tarnish Silver for the warp threads on the Jewel Loom™.  I used Light Blue Frosted Round Beads and Sapphire Round Crystals to weaved 37 rows using the WildFire ™ Frost Weaving Thread.  Next I added the  Suncatcher Mixed Media Blue Theme crystals and beads to the center and wire wrapped to attach them to the bracelet and hold in place.    Then I removed the bracelet band from the loom and made loops on the end of each wire.  I connected the wires with jump rings and added a clasp.  I also added some SS16 Clear Flat Back Crystals from ButterBeeScraps.

For tools I used the  Jewel Loom™ by Julianna C Hudgins, Flush Cutter and a Round Nose Pliers from Beadalon®.

Love all of the sparkle from these gorgeous crystals!

Vintage Style Jewel Flower Embellishment – Joyeux Noel Christmas Card

Hello everyone!  Today is my day to post over on the Positively Me Blog and I have a quick and easy Christmas card to share with you.

I created a vintage style flower for an embellishment using the S5-143 Jewel Flowers & Flourishes die template from  Julianna Hudgins Positively Me Collection from Spellbinders Creative Arts®.  I used old book pages for the flower and I inked the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.  Then I fluffed up the flower and added some silver Stickles on the edges of the flower and leaves for a little sparkle.  I added a Kaiser Craft Sparklets-Crystal to the center of the flower and attached the flower to the top of the ornament die cut.

Jewel Butterfly Necklace

I used one of the new hatpin bezels MB3-003S Square Hatpin-Silver from Spellbinders® to create the base of the necklace.  I also used S5-143 Jewel Flowers and Flourishes and MD1-008 Media Mixáge™ Squares Two die templates.

More Pictures from the Spellbinders Design Team Retreat (Day 2) and a Project Share

Hello everyone!  Today, I have a few more pictures to share with you from the Spellbinders 2013 Design Team Retreat and I also have a card to share with you.  I made a few collages with the pictures from the retreat so the post wouldn't be so picture heavy.

We had so much fun on the second day of the retreat!  The morning was spent with the Fabulous Julianna Hudigns.  We received goodie bags from Beadalon filled with so many fantastic supplies from the Jewel Loom and jewelry tools to wire.  We also received a wonderful bead tray and it was filled with beautiful beads and charms from Blue Moon Beads a division of DCWV.  Julianna showed how to make jump rings and we all got to make a beautiful bracelet using the Jewel Loom.  Several of us on the Spellbinders DT's also design for Julianna so we thought it would be nice to have a group shot.  L-->R Heidi-Me ;-), Holly Simoni, Judy Hayes, Julianna Hudgins and Lesley Langdon. 

Here is another group shot of the Blog Team.  In the afternoon we all got to go on a little outing.  We had so much fun going to visit Fun Stampers Journey!  While we were there we got to pick out some stamp sets too.  They have so many fantastic stamp sets it was hard to choose!  ;-)  A Huge Thank You to Richard and Gabby Garay and beautiful ladies at the store!!!

Ok now for the Crazy pictures LOL!!

To finish off Day 2 we had a Nerd Night party!!  Check out some of those outfits!!  We had a blast and it was great seeing everyone all dressed up.  

Now for my card.

This is a card I made for my grandpa for his birthday.  I used the E3D-002 Creative Cogs 3D M-Bossabilities™ Folder and some copper foil from the Premium Craft Foils from Spellbinders®.  I lightly sanded the foil to reveal the silver under the copper paint.  I also just SW-04520 All Boy stamp set from JustRite Papercraft.  All of the supplies are listed below.

Jewel Flower Note Card Set

Hello blogging friends!  I know it has been a few days but things have been a little crazy around here.  Our youngest son had to have an unexpected surgery this past week on Tuesday.  No worries it wasn't anything serious and he is doing really good!  ;-)  Also on Tuesday my husband left to go to West Virginia for his son's graduation.  A Huge Congrats to my stepson Chase on his graduation!!  I wish we all could have been there but I told my husband to make sure and take lots of pictures.  This weekend is Eddie Cochran weekend here in town and they have all kinds of activities going on.  Eddie Cochran was probably best known for one of his songs -- Summertime Blues.  One of the activities is the antique card parade which comes right by our house so every year we have a bbq and have family and friends over.  Usually my husband is in charge of the grill but since he is out of town I will be in charge of the grill (or maybe I'll have my dad do it--LOL!)  wish me luck!

Secret Garden Jewel Floral Frame

Hello everyone!  Today, is my post day over at the Positively Me Blog.

I have an altered frame to share.  I used some of the beautiful Secret Garden Paper Collection from Graphic 45, S5-143 Jewel Flowers & Flourishes and S5-099 Jewel Keys die templates from Spellbinders Creative Arts™ Positively Me Collection by Julianna Hudgins to alter and embellish the frame.

Using the S5-143 Jewel Flowers & Flourishes I was able to make perfect flower embellishments for my Secret Garden frame.  I love how the frame turned out and it's a perfect home decor piece for Spring.

Today, is the first day of December so I think it's officially the holiday season.  One thing I love to do every year during the holidays is make Christmas ornaments.  I love handmade ornaments and they can also be great for gift giving or adding a little something to a gift bag.  I used the S5-099 Jewel Keys and S5-143 Jewel Flowers & Flourishes from the Positively Me™ Collection by Julianna Hudgins to create a beautiful snowflake Christmas ornament.

Autumn Jewel Flowers Candle

Hello!  Today, is my day to post on Julianna's Blog Positively Me and I have a home decor' piece to share with you that will be perfect for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday and to decorate your home during the Autumn season.

I used S5-143 Jewel Flowers and Flourishes die templates from Julianna's Positively Me Collection from Spellbinders Paper Arts™ to create some beautiful flowers and embellish a candle that would be wonderful to use as a center piece or on a side table.
