Pink Ink - All About The Pie Card

Hello everyone!  Today, I have a card to share with you using one of the beautiful stamps from the Pink Ink July release.  Throughout the summer months everyone is having picnics and family reunions and I am sure there are many different kinds of pies and yummy desserts included.  I love this stamped image with all of the pies!  I stamped the All About The Pie #2251K image on to Kraft cardstock using Memento Espresso Truffle ink.  Then I colored the image using Spectrum Noir Colored Pencils.   Here is a close up of the colored image.  I added some glossy accents to the whipped topping on one of the pies and sprinkled Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter on top for a little bit of sparkle.  I also added the glitter on the Sweet die cut (Echo Park).  Then I added some glossy accents to the cherries on the top of one of the pies and to the cherries on the die cut(Memory Box).  I used labels Thirty-Six die from Spellbinders to create the layers die cut shapes. Cute & Quick Halloween Card - Exciting Announcment

Hello Blogging friends! Just one more quick Halloween card to share with you. I can't believe how fast the month of October flew by!!

The card base is a Soot (black) paper from Discount Cardstock and the pattern paper is from Echo Park the Apothecary Emporium 6 x 6 Paper Pad. I used three images from the Crafty Secrets Halloween Creative Scraps and layered them on a doily. To color the doily I used Tattered Angels Popsicle Glimmer Mist. Then I added Finesse Swirls Black Rhinestones and 72 Count Purple Rhinestones from Want2Scrap™.

Spooky Halloween Pin or Home Decor

Good morning blogging friends! Today, I have a fun little Halloween project to share with you.
I used the Nestaboard™ Sprightly Sprockets by Donna Salazar and embellished them with paint, die cuts and bling to make a fun & spooky Halloween pin.

But if you don't want to wear this as a pin you can pin it to a black ribbon and create a a little mini home decor wall hanging.


I painted the largest and smallest sprockets using Black and Bronze ECO-Friendly Acrylic Paint from Eco Green Crafts. For the medium sprocket I used Echo Park Apothecary Emporium Collection designer paper and S5-048 Sprightly Sprockets from Spellbinders to cut/emboss perfectly matching shapes. Then I added some Halloween die cuts using S4-280 Halloween Fences Scenes and Shapes (Crow) and S4-282 Witches Brew (Boot) from
Spellbinders. I added Baby Bling Red Rhinestones to the eyes on the skull and the crow.


Here is a close up of the boot and I added 72 Count Light Green Rhinestones. I also added 72 Count Purple Rhinestones going around the largest sprocket.


To create the rose I used old book pages, S5-050 Rose Creations and Tattered Angels Popsicle Glimmer Mist.


For a little sparkle I added Pralines & Cream Fairy Dust Glitter.

Simply Sunday - Our Challenge - Change Can Be Beautiful Card

Simply Sunday

What is Simply Sunday? Simply Sunday is a day for a little bit of simplicity in our lives and our journey as designers. No chit chat, no tutorials, no fancy techniques and only one or two photos.

How did Simply Sunday come to be? While talking with a couple of friends we decided we wanted to do something different this year, something that would challenge us. We each create and design with a LOVE for embellishments and lots of them I might add--LOL! So we thought why not challenge ourselves to create simple cards. Now, I know you might be thinking that doesn't sound like much of a challenge but sometimes creating the simplest of things can be one of the hardest things to do.
