Best Wishes Clear Stamp Set and Vines Background Stamp - JustRite Papercraft February New Release

Hello everyone!  Today, is the last day of the  JustRite® Papercraft February New Release and we have one more stamp set and background stamp to share with you.

Here is the card that I designed using CR-02152 Best Wishes Clear Stamps and CL-02159 Bold Vines Cling Background Stamp.  I stamped the background using VersaMark ink and then heat embossed with gold embossing powder.  Next I used Mixed Oval Layering Die Set 485e from Tonic Studios to create both of the oval die cuts.  I cut one with white cardsock and stamped floral images and the sentiment and for the other oval I used Gold Mirror cardstock.  I colored the floral images with Distress Markers and then added a few pearls.

Here is a close up.  I also added a few Wild Orchid Craft Flowers and a white pearls.  I used the Royal Fern Die Set 657e from Tonic Studios to die cut the dainty leaves with a little flourish.

Here is a close up of one of the flower clusters.

I hope you enjoyed all of the new stamps in this release and all of the beautiful projects from the JustRite Design Team!

JustRite Papercraft Celtic Knot Background and Wishing You Rainbows Sentiments - Distress Markers Technique with Three Cards

Hello everyone!  Today, I have a few more February New Releases from JustRite® Papercraft to share with you.  Due to my schedule I wasn't able to post on all of the release days so please be sure to check out the JustRite Inspiration Blog so you don't miss any of the New Releases.

Today, I have three cards to share with you.  I used the same stamp sets on all three cards and the same technique but they all have a different look.

Here is a quick look at all three cards.  I used CL-02122 Celtic Knot Background Stamp on all three cards but I did three generations of stamping.  See how the background colors get lighter with each card.  I inked the stamp one time using Tim Holtz Distress Markers (listed below).  Then I misted the stamp and the watercolor paper with water and stamped the background image.  Then repeat two more times.  With each stamping you will get lighter color tones.

Here you can see all three backgrounds.  This is a very easy technique and a great way to create multiple cards but with different looks.

Here is the first card.  This one has the brightest and bold colors of all three cards.  I used a sentiment from the CR-02118 Wishing You Rainbows Sentiments.  To create the label I used S4-462 Labels Thirty-Nine die template.  Then I added some Brass Filigree Embellishment (Item #949-G) from ButterBeeScraps on each side of the label and a few Wild Orchid Craft Flowers.

Here is a close up.

Here is the second card.  The sentiment is from CR-02118 Wishing You Rainbows Sentiments.  I used S5-156 Labels Twenty-Nine to create the label shape.  Then I made a bow with May Arts Light Blue Silk Ribbon and added that to the card front.  To finish off the card I added a few white pearls and a AB Cabochon Flower to the center of the bow.

Here is a close up.

Here is the third and final card.  I just love how soft the colors are on this one.  For the sentiment I used CR-02118 Wishing You Rainbows Sentiments.  To create the label shapes I used GLD-016 Baby Buntings die templates.  Then I layered the labels and added some Gold Metallic String to hang the labels from on the card front.  I added some Wild Orchid Craft Flowers and a few different kinds of sequins.  For a little more sparkle I added some diamond stickles to the flowers and around the label.

Here is a close up.

I hope you enjoyed this release and the cards for today!

Caring Thoughts Sentiments Clear Stamps - In My Thoughts Card - Day Two November New Release for JustRite Papercraft

Hello everyone!  It's Day Two of the November New Release for JustRite® Papercraft.  Today we are featuring the  CR-02148 Caring Thoughts Sentiments Clear Stamps.

This is a beautiful stamp set with a couple of floral and butterfly images and wonderful sentiments.

This is the card I designed using the CR-02148 Caring Thoughts Sentiments Clear Stamps.  I stamped the floral images and sentiment using VersaMark ink.  Then I used Ranger Super Fine Detail Gold Embossing Powder and heat set.

To create my card I used the Idyllics Embossing Folder & Die – Jasmine Dream from Tonic Studio.  This is a beautiful die set with 10 dies and it also includes the embossing folder.

To color the floral image I used Evergreen Bough, Bundled Sage Distress Markers.  I scribbled the colors on to an acrylic block and then I used the Zig Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen to pick up the color and and color the images.  Doing this adds so much sparkle and shimmer to the image.  Just be sure to scribble of on a piece of scratch paper in between colors.

Here is a close up so you can see the shimmer.

I think the topper for this card is so gorgeous and I love the details.  I added some May Arts Green Wrinkled Ribbon behind the die cut for some interest and added color.  I used a cotton ball and applied Delicata Golden Glitz ink around the edges of the label die cut and also on the lower portion of the card going over the embossing.  Doing this really makes the embossed area pop.

To finish off the card I added pearl button to the center of the bow. I used Teal Silk Ribbon to create the bow.  Then I added a few more white pearls.

Please be sure to hop on over to the JustRite Design Team Members listed below and check out what's on their blogs using this beautiful stamp set!

The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store - Birthday Wishes to You Card

Hello everyone and Happy Monday!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  It was a really nice weekend here in MN.  We had a busy weekend trying to get all of the outdoor and yard work done before the winter.  We got the garden all cleaned out and the trampoline down and packed away.  Just a little more to do and we will be ready.  Today, I have another project to share with you using some of the fantastic products from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

I designed a card using some of the beautiful papers from the  Melissa FrancesClassic Elegance 6 x 6 paper pad.  I love the papers in this collection!  I used a very light pink pattern paper to create the roses and the white and grey damask pattern paper for the background.

To create the flowers I used a combination of the S5-086 Bitty Blossoms and S5-050 Rose Creations die templates.  Here is a picture to show how I colored the flowers - (rose creation pictured).  As I mentioned I used some of the light pink pattern paper from the  Melissa FrancesClassic Elegance 6 x 6 paper pad to die cut the flowers.  Then I inked the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Spun Sugar.  Next I edged the flowers with the Spun Sugar  Distress Marker and the finish of the flower I very lightly inked the edges with the Worn Lipstick Distress Marker.

Here you can see the finished roses.  I added a bitty blossom to the center and then the rose creations on the outer part of the flower.  For the sentiment I used JustRite® Papercraft CR-04580 Birthday Vintage Labels Four Clear Stamps with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.  After I stamped the sentiment I used S2-043 Die D-Lites Frame Two to die cut the frame.  I used 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® to pop up the frame.  I also used S2-048 Die D-Lites Sprig die template to create the leaves.  Love this new Die D-Lite set--it is perfect to mix in with the flowers.  For some beautiful trims I used Melissa Frances Organza Pouf Ribbon - Pink and Melissa Frances Lace Trim - White along the bottom part of the card.  To finish off the card I added a few  Melissa Frances Pearls - Pewter to the card and the center of the roses.

I layered everything on the a grey mat and then on to a pink card base.  I used EZ Runner® Permanent Stirps-Refillable Dispenser 49'  to adhere all of the pieces.

Birthday Cake Background Cling Stamp - JustRite Papercraft September New Release Day 3

Hello blogging friends!  It's Day 3 of the JustRite Papercraft September New Release.  What do you think of the New Releases from JustRite Papercraft so far?  Do you have any favorites or some that are on a wish list?  Today, I am sharing two more New releases.

The first one is CL-04740 Birthday Wishes for You Cling Stamp Set.  Check out all of the fantastic birthday sentiments!

Here is the second stamp-CL-04760 Birthday Cake Backgroud Cling Stamp.  I used this stamp on a card but I think this background stamp would be perfect for the cover of a birthday mini album.

Here is the card I designed using one of the sentiments and the background.  It has been awhile since I used my Distress Markers and I figured it was time to get them out and play.

All of the coloring was done with the Distree Markers.  The colors are in the supply list below.

After I was done coloring the image I thought it might look really neat to have some open space in the white area of the card.  I used the center piece for S2-014 Medallion One die template to cut/emboss the area.  I placed a piece of wax paper in between the cardstock and the die template, taped the die in place and then die cut.  Doing this allows for a quick and easy release from the paper and all of the intricate cut details in the die template.

Here is a close up after I cut/embossed the detail in to the center of the card front.

I stamped the sentiment on to Pink Lemonade cardstock using  Distress Ink Picked Raspberry.  Then I cut/embossed the shape using S5-187 Labels Thirty-Three.  Then I added Cottage Rose and Sweetheart Blossoms from Really Reasonable Ribbon and some diamond stickles for a little bit of sparkle.  I also used S4-328 Foliage to die cut some leaves.

I didn't have the right color of green paper so I just applied some ink to the paper and I had the perfect match!   It worked great!
