JustRite Papercraft Tutorial Tuesday - Quick and Easy Christmas Cards with a YouTube Video

Hello everyone!  It's Tutorial Tuesday with JustRite® Papercraft and today I will be sharing how you can using the clear stamps sets, background stamps and the SVG cut files to create quick and easy Christmas cards.  I know a lot of people make cards for the holidays and it's always nice to have some quick and easy ones especially if you make a lot of cards.

These are the three Christmas cards that I designed.  They are very quick and easy to create.  This is just kind of a starting point for the cards--if you want you could embellish them more or if you want flatter cards for mailing you could leave out the 3D Foam Squares.

To see more photos and find out all of the details you can hop on over to the JustRite Inspiration Blog or you can watch my YouTube video to see how each card was made.  Click HERE for the video.

Stitched Flowers Vintage Tags & SVG Files - JustRite Papercraft - March Release Day One

Hello blogging friends!  Today, is Day One of the JustRite® Papercraft March Release and we have something exciting to share with you!  JustRite® Papercraft now has SVG Files available to match some of the stamp sets!!

Here is a look at the stamp set and SVG file we are showcasing today.

SVG-02018 SVG Stitched Flowers Vintage Tags Digital Cut Download for CR-02018  The blue shaded items in the product photo represent the images you will get in your download.

Here is the card that I designed using both the CR-02018 Stitched Flower Vintage Tags  Clear Stamps and SVG-02018 SVG Stitched Flowers Vintage Tags Digital Cut Download for CR-02018 from  JustRite® Papercraft.  For my card I used the exact cut file.

The SVG Files will allow you to be able to cut with and offset or and exact cut.  Here is a picture so you can see the to two different cuts side by side.  The first one is the offset cut and the flowers on the card are the exact cut.

I have a tutorial to share with you on how I stamp the exact cuts.  I remove all of my cuts from the mat and when I do this I put a little X on the back of the cut.  This way if I don't stamp everything right away I will know with a quick glance the front and back of the cut.  I place the stamp on an acrylic block (face up) and before inking the stamp I place the cut on top of the stamp and line it up to match.

Next I apply a little bit of adhesive from E-Z Dots® Repositionable adhesive to an acrylic block with a grid.

Then I press the acrylic block with adhesive down on top of the cut.  When I do this I use the grid to line up areas on the grid as a visual for when I stamp (see X's).  I lift the block straight up and the cut is on one block and the stamp is on the other.  Ink up the stamp and then remember the lines on the grid for lining up the cut with the stamp.

Stamp.  ;-)

Perfect results! ;-) I used Mix'd Media Inx Jasmine to stamp on to the Kraft cardstock.

I used Prismacolor Colored Pencils to add just a hint of color to the images.

Here is a close up of the butterfly and the tag with the sentiment.  To create the tag I used one of the die templates from the S5-211 Romantic Rectangles Two set from  Spellbinders Paper Arts®.

Here is a close up of the flowers.  I added pink buttons for the flower centers.  I also used my
Zig Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen brush pen to add some sparkle to the card.

Here is a look at some of the offset cuts that I colored and will be on an upcoming project.

I hope you enjoyed the stamping tutorial and the card.  I am really excited to be using the SVG files--they are going to be a lot of fun!

JustRite Papercraft - December Release Day One

Hello blogging friends!  We are starting a little early but today is the first day of the December New Releases for JustRite Papercraft.  Today's release is showcasing this beautiful CL-04335 Cupid Background Stamp.

This background stamp will be prefect for Valentine's Day but it would also be wonderful for weddings, anniversaries and birthdays as well.

Here is the card that I designed using the New CL-04335 Cupid Background Stamp.  I started by stamping the background image onto Sipmly Smooth White paper from DiscountCardstock.com using Delicata Golden Glitz ink from  Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko.  I set the paper aside to let the ink dry.

Once the image was dry I used Prismacolor Colored Pencils to color the image.

Then I lightly misted the entire piece with Pssst! Sheer Shimmer Spritz Sparkle from Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko.

Here is a close up of the cameo I added and the Baby Pink Seam Binding from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I also added pearls and Diamond Clear Glitter from The Rubber Cafe.  I used Scrap Happy Sheer Glue and the Stick "EM" Up Tool to apply the pearls and glitter.

For the base of the card I used Sno Cone paper and matted it with a piece of Mountain Rose Metallic and then added the Cupid background image.

Please be sure to visit each of the Design Team Members in the link list below to see the beautiful projects they have created to share with you.

Becca's Amazing Paper Grace Kit # 4 - Day 2

Hello blogging friends!  Today, I have a project to share with you using Becca's New Amazing Paper Grace Kit # 4.  The kit is filled with all of the products you will need to make her projects and it also includes the stamp set AG-04365 What Defines Us and die template set AG-03965 Filigree Bracket Label Dies.
Click HERE to find out all of the details about Becca's New Amazing Paper Grace Kit # 4.

Here is the card that I designed using the stamp set and die templates from Amazing Paper Grace Kit # 4

For the larger label I used Sno Cone (Lt Blue) cardstock and for the tag I used Simply Smooth White.  I used Angel Pink and Pistachio Memento inks to stamp the image of the rose in the center of the tag.  Then I used Rich Cocoa Memento ink to stamp the sentiment.  I stamped the roses using the same Rich Cocoa ink and then I colored them using Prismacolor Colored Pencils and fussy cut each of the roses.  I layered the pieces using 3D Foam Squares and then I added some Diamond Stickles to the roses for a little bit of sparkle.  The ribbon is Fuchsia Wrinkled Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I created a layered bow and then added a stick pin.

I used the larger filigree stamp along with Angel Pink Memento ink to create a border around the edge of the card.

For a finishing touch I added pink bling to the tag and around the edges of the card.

JustRite Papercraft - The Amazing Paper Grace Kit Club for September

Hello!  I am so happy to finally be able to share with you The Amazing Paper Grace Kit Club.  This is a monthly kit club that includes exclusive dies and stamps designed by Becca Feeken.  I am so excited for Becca and her new journey!  Becca is such a sweet and amazingly talented lady and so deserving of this.  If you would like to ready Becca's announcement please click HERE.

Check out this Beautiful stamp set!  This is the exclusive stamp set in Becca's September Kit, AG-04005 Signed Sealed Delivered.  This stamp set coordinates with her exclusive die set too!

Here is the exclusive AG-04000 Two by Two Postage Die that is included in Becca's September Kit.

Here is the card that I designed using the exclusive die and stamp set from Becca's Amazing Paper Grace September 2012 Kit.  The stamp set and the die template were so fun to work with!  I love creating little faux stamps and how the die template works, you can have one large die cut or you can cut the die cut into smaller postage stamps.

Here is a close up of the postage stamps I created.  I stamped the image onto Simply Smooth Ivory cardstock and then I colored the images using Ranger Distress Inks Antique Linen, Vintage Photo, Aged Mahogany, Bundled Sage, Tumbled Glass.  I used EG-003 Garden Latice M-Bossabilities to emboss the background piece and then I inked the embossed area and the edges using Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Inks.  Then I added the lace trims and layered the images onto the card.

Next I created a little charm.  I stamped the image onto Simply Smooth Ivory and colored it with Prismacolor Colored Pencils.  Then I used glossy accents to glue on the Small Vintage Alterable Trinket (Acrylic Chandelier Piece).  Once it was dry I cut off the excess paper and attached it to the card.

To finish off the card I added a black seam binding bow, trinket pins and a pretty button.

Today and tomorrow the JustRite Papercraft designers are sharing their beautiful projects created with Amazing Paper Grace Becca's September 2012 Kit.  Here is the link list for today.  Please be sure to visit each of the designers and leave them a little love.  ♥

Beauty Butterfly Scrapbook Layout

Hello blogging friends!  Today, I have a scrapbook layout to share with you.

My youngest son and I were out for a walk one day not too long ago and I happen to have my camera with.  While we were walking I snapped a few pictures of some animals, flower and this beautiful butterfly.  I just love how this picture turned out with the focus on the flowers and butterfly and the background almost looks like watercolor.  This is one layout that I am not going to put in an album, instead I think I am going to put it up on an easel for a home decor piece.

I used  LF-014 Jewel Alphabet die templates to create the title.  I cut/embossed each of the letters twice with Posh Milk Chocolate and Gumdrop Green paper from Discount Cardstock. I slightly offset and layered the letters to create a shadow effect.  I also added Diamond Clear Glitter from The Rubber Cafe' to the top of the letters for a little sparkle and then I used 3D Foam Squares to adhere the letters to the layout.

The pattern paper is Kaisercraft Provence from the Bonjour Collection.  I also stamped a few butterflies on to the pattern paper.  The image is from S-114 Vintage Treasures from The Rubber Cafe' and I used Clearsnap Donna Salazar Mix'd Media Inx Truffle.  I just recently picked up a few of Donna's Inx and I have to tell you I ♥ them!!  They are so rich and creamy and now I want them all!!  LOL!  I also used Prismacolor Colored Pencil PC-1032 Orange Citrouille to add a little color to the butterflies and a little more glitter too.  To create the large butterfly I used LF-006 Wonderful Wings.  I added a handmade stick pin, seam binding and glitter to the butterfly.  In the background I also die cut a piece of Zutter Donna Salazar 7 x 7 Corrugated Board using LF-251 Grand Big Scalloped Ovals.  I used Ranger Acrylic Paint Dabber Snow Cap on the corrugated board.

I stamped the sentiment - Spread Your Wings - along the bottom of the layout.  The sentiment stamp is also from The Rubber Cafe'.

I also added Noelle Lace Trim from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  This is some of my favorite lace trim, I love the dainty edging!  I also added some tiny white butterflies.  The butterflies are the drop out pieces from the S4-329 Butterfly Circles die template.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hugs & Smiles,
Heidi

Butterflies & Blossoms - Pro 31 Designs - JustRite Papercraft - Spellbinders

Hello blogging friends!  Today, I have a pretty butterflies and blossoms card to share with you.

Yesterday was Administrative Professionals Day and I made this card for my husband's secretary.  She likes to garden to I thought the butterflies and flowers would be perfect.

I started by stamping the image with Rich Cocoa ink on to Simply Smooth White cardstock from Discount Cardstock.  The image is from the CR-02245 Botanical Butterflies stamp set from JustRite Papercraft.  I colored the butterfly using Prismacolor Colored Pencils.

I continued to color the background on the image with more Prismacolor Colored Pencils.

To create the background I used a few colors of Distress Inks. First I covered the entire image with Old Paper and then added some Milled Lavender.  Next I add just little touches of Faded Jeans and then I added Dusty Concord around the label at the top of the image.  I very lightly misted the stamp with water and then stamped the image on to  Simply Smooth White cardstock.  I used the Grand Calibur and LF-168 Grand Large Labels to cut/emboss the label shape and then I edged it with Rich Cocoa ink.

To create the little flower cluster I used a Circle Pearl Sprays, Small Blue Porcelain Roses and Porcelain Calla Lily from Pro 31 Designs.  **Be sure to check out the Exciting News about Pro 31 Designs at the bottom of this post!! Next I applied Scrap Happy Sheer Glue and Diamond Clear Glitter from The Rubber Cafe'  to all of the flowers.

I also added some Scrap Happy Sheer Glue and Diamond Clear Glitter from The Rubber Cafe'  to the wings of the butterfly for a little added sparkle.

Here is a close up of the butterfly image.  I used the Grand Calibur, S4-114 Standard Circles Large and S5-064 Moroccan Accents to cut/emboss the die cut shapes.  Then I used 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L to layer and add dimension to the die cuts.

Here is a close up of the flower cluster.  I also added a seam binding bow.  I used Distress Inks to hand dye the seam binding bow.

Here is a close up of the Pink Rose and Sequins Trim from Pro 31 Designs.  This trim is so gorgeous and sparkly I love it!!  Rose and Sequins Trim is also available in blue.

Ok, I told you I had some Exciting News to share about Pro 31 Designs.  Esmeralda has opened up a NEW online store with a website!!  Pro 31 Designs is now a DOT COM!!!  Click HERE to check out her new site!!  Esmeralda has added several New things to her store so please be sure to check it out!!
