The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store - Merry & Bright CAS Christmas Card

Hello blogging friends!  Today, is my day to post for The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.  I have another CAS (Clean And Simple) Christmas card to share with you.  Over on the Stamp Simply Blog we are celebrating the 12 Days of Christmas with CAS cards.  If you are looking for inspiration to create some CAS cards then be sure to hop on over to the Stamp Simply Blog and check it out!  There are so many beautiful cards from the design team.

For my card I used some of the Wild Rose Studio - Painted Poinsettia paper.  This paper is so pretty and has some beautiful images on it.  I love this image of the little bird with the holly, berries and flowers.  Originally this card was going to be an A2 size.  But it was my first time working with the Elizabeth Craft Designs 953 Tags & More 3 - Leaves die (which by the way I love!) and the tag was a little larger than I thought it would be.  I had already cut the pattern paper to fit and A2 size card.  So this is what I did to resolve this and have a 5.5 x 5.5 card--I cut a 5.25 x 5.25 piece of white cardstock so I would have a base to add the papers to.  Then I cut another small strip of the pattern paper and added a strip of the Bazzill - Gold Mirror Cardstock along the side to fill in the space and then I had card front to fit the 5.5 x 5.5 card base.

The Elizabeth Craft Designs 953 Tags & More 3 - Leaves die is a pretty neat die set and allows you to be able to customize your tag.  You can make the tag different sizes and embellish it in different ways using all of the different die included in the set.  To create my tag I used the leaf die for the top part of the tag.  I saved the leaf drop out pieces to use as well.  Then I die cut some small flowers.  I added a little Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Mowed Lawn to the center of the flowers to try and make them look like the flowers in the pattern paper.  I also added a Melissa Frances White Pearls to the center of each flower.  I used JustRite Papercraft CR-02176 Christmas Handwriten Sentiments along with  Memento - Rich Cocoa to stamp the sentiment and add the little berry sprigs.  I used just a little Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Mowed Lawn to add a little color and then a Copic Marker - R85 Rose Red for the berries.

To finish off the tag I added May Arts Rose Silk Ribbon with a bow and then I also used some Therm-O-Web 3D Squares on the tag for some dimension.

The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store - Silver Bells Merry Little Christmas Card

Hello blogging friends!  Today, is my day to post for The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.  I have another CAS (Clean And Simple) Christmas card to share with you.  Over on the Stamp Simply Blog we are celebrating the 12 Days of Christmas with CAS cards.  Today, is day 5 and if you are looking for inspiration to create some CAS cards then be sure to hop on over to the Stamp Simply Blog and check it out!

Here is the card that I designed.  I used the KaiserCraft Silver Bells 6-1/2'' Paper Pad to create this card.  This paper pad is filled with beautiful pastel Christmas images.  It also includes some foiled papers and die cuts in the paper pad. I just love these colors for Christmas.

Here is a close up of the beautiful vintage image of Santa.  I used some light blue pattern paper from the paper pad to add a mat layer behind the image.  The label shape with the sentiment is also from the paper pad.  I added a couple of Therm-O-Web 3D Square to pop the die cut shape up.  Then I added some May Arts - Pink Silk Ribbon and Melissa Frances White Pearls.

The card base is light blue cardstock and this is an A2 top folding card.

Hello blogging friends!  Today, is my day to post for The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store and as part of the 12 Days of CAS Christmas I have one more CAS Christmas card to share with you.

The 12 Days of CAS Christmas is coming to an end but I hope you have enjoyed all of the Christmas projects from the Design Team and have been inspired to create your own CAS Christmas cards.

Here is the card that I designed using some of the fun and festive Graphic 45 Twas the Night Before Christmas 8 x 8 Paper Pad Collection and 6 x 6 Paper Pad Collection.  I always love all of the images in the Graphic 45 paper pads.  These are great for creating CAS cards--just a little bit of fussy cutting, some paper layer, a couple of embellishments and you have a beautiful card.

Here is a close up of the top image.  Both images are from the 8 x 8 paper pad and the pattern paper is from the 6 x 6 paper pad.  I used some 3D Foam Squares to pop up the image.  Then I added some May Arts 7/8" Gingham Red Ribbon and a few Kaisercraft Sparklets-Rouge.

Here is a close up with the bottom image and a few more Kaisercraft Sparklets-Rouge.  I think the Sparklets look like pretty holly berries.

To finish off the card I added all of the layers to a kraft cardstock base.  So CAS and quick and easy to make!

The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store - 12 Days of CAS Christmas - Best Wishes Christmas Card.

Hello blogging friends!  Today, is my day to post for The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store and as part of the 12 Days of CAS Christmas I have another CAS Christmas card to share with you.

Here is the card that I designed using some of the beautiful papers from the Kaisercraft Yuletide 6.5 x 6.5 Paper Pad.  This CAS Christmas card is probably one of the quickest card I have ever made!  I think it only took about 5 minutes start to finish.  I layered a couple pieces of the pattern paper for the background and then I fussy cut the sentiment.  I added 3D Foam Squares to the back of the sentiment for a little added dimension.  Next I added a piece of  May Arts 3/8" Velvet Burgundy Ribbon along the side and then added a couple May Arts Faux Suede Leaves Gold and one of the flowers from Petaloo Botanica Minis Red to finish off the card.

Here is a close up of the sentiment and the flower.  I think the gold leaves really make the gold foil paper in the background pop.

I added all of the layers to an ivory card base.  So CAS and quick and easy to make!

12 Days of CAS Christmas with The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store - Snowflake Joy Card

Hello everyone!  I am very excited to share my first CAS Christmas card for the 12 Days of CAS Christmas with The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.  

Everyday from September 29th - October 10th the Design Team will be sharing CAS (Clean And Simple) Christmas cards on The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store Blog.

Here is the card that I designed using some of the pretty BoBunny Candy Cane Lane Collection 6 x 6 Paper Pad.  I love all of the pretty pinks, blues and light green in this paper pad!  I cut one of the pattern pieces to fit the card front and then cut another piece a little smaller and layered the two together.  Next I die cut the S4-433 Snowflake Bliss, and S2-118 Holiday Sentiments die templates using ivory cardstock.  I used Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue to adhere the largest snowflake and the sentiment.  Then I used  3D Foam Squares to add the other layers.

Here you can see the layers of the snowflake.  I added Kaisercraft Sparklets-Rhinestone Clusters Clear, Light Pink Rhinestones, and Silver Rhinestones for some sparkle.
