Sunshine Vintage Labels Eight and Nine Clear Stamps - JustRite Papercraft September New Release - You are Braver Than You Think Card

Hello everyone!  I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend!  Today, is the first day of the JustRite® Papercraft September New Release.

We are showcasing two stamp sets today.

Here is the card that I designed using CR-02117 Sunshine Vintage Labels Eight and Nine Clear Stamps and the coordinating dies JB-02087 Vintage Labels Eight Dies from JustRite® Papercraft.  I used pink cardstock for the base and then layered it with some beautiful pattern paper from The Paper Studio Country Road 12 x 12 Paper Pad Collection (Hobby Lobby).  I love this collection--all of the papers are so pretty and shabby!

I stamped the smaller flourish frame  two times with VersMark ink and embossed in white.  I also used the same ink and embossing powder for the sentiment.  Then I used one of the labels from the JB-02087 Vintage Labels Eight Dies to create the die cuts.  You can see on the left more of the die cuts with the flourish frame is peeking out.  I placed both of those die cuts on the bottom.  Then I die cut the larger frame and used Donna Salazar Mix'd Media Inx Wisteria to stamp the image of the frame.  I layered the sentiment on the top.  Then I added a little bit of white Gesso to the die cuts to shabby them up just a bit.  I wrapped the center of the card with May Arts Pink Tulle from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store and tied a bow.  To finish up the card I added some  Wild Orchid Craft Flowers, AB Sequins, and Em's Emporium 4mm, 6mm White Pearls.  For a little bit of sparkle I added Zig Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen to the flowers.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Today - Retirement Card

Hello everyone!  Today, I have a card to share with you that I made for one of my husband's coworkers who recently retired.

I used milk chocolate cardstock for the base of the card and then I added a black mat with distressed edges.  I took a 5x7 piece of the milk chocolate and embossed it with the E3D-017 Oval Accent M-bossabilities Folder.  Then I rubbed Imagine Crafts/Tuskineko Versa Mark Ink around the outer edges and applied Stampendous Aged Ivory Embossing Enamel and heat set it with a heat tool.  I love using this embossing enamel--it has a great texture and gives projects that aged and distressed look.  I found the sentiment on the internet, typed it up and printed it.  Then I used S4-110 Classic Ovals LG to die cut the sentiment.  I used Ranger Distress Ink Antique Linen to ink the outer edges of the die cut.  I also die cut another shape using one of the die templates from the S5-216 A2 Tranquil Moments set.  You can see it peeking out behind the sentiment.  I popped the sentiment up using 3D Foam Squares and then I added some handmade enamel dots using Glossy Accents.

Here is a close up of the sentiment.

To create the decorative bezel I used an image from The Paper Studio Vintage Bottle Cap Sticker Pack and die cut it using the GLD-005 Iron Cross Dies.  I placed the die cut inside the GLSB-005 Iron Cross Bezel and added a clear acrylic circle sticker to the center.  Then I used some brown jute to attach the bezel to the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Hugs & Smiles,
Heidi

Just A Note Card with a Dangle Purse Charm

Hello everyone!  Today, I have a card with a little gift all in one to share with you.

Dangle purse charms are so trendy right now and why not create one to add to the front of a card.  These are quick, easy and inexpensive to create--plus they really dress up the card and make cute little gifts.

To create the dangle purse charm I started with a bottle cap, added the image and then added the clear round epoxy sticker.  Then I punched a couple of holes in the bottle cap--top and bottom.  Next I added Silver Jump Rings and some Silver Tone Chain (Item #CH876-P) to the bottle cap and started creating the dangle charm.  I added a bird charm from the Birds of a Feather collection, a tree from the Natures Garden Charm Collection , a silver flower charm and a couple of Frosted Acrylic Flower Beads (Item #ABD332-BK) with pearls.  All of the charms, chain and jump rings are from  ButterBeeScraps.  Then I added a large clasp.  When I made the bow I added a Silver Jump Rings so I would be able to clip on the dangle purse charm and add it to the card.  I added one of the Frosted Acrylic Flower Beads (Item #ABD332-BK) with a pearl to the top so when the dangle purse charm is removed there wouldn't be an empty jump ring on the bow.  Tip--I know the chunky dangle purse charms are very popular but when you are adding one to a card don't make it too chunky or your card won't be able to stand up with the charm attached to it.  ;-)

To create the card base I used black cardstock with S6-001 5x7 Matting Basics A die template.  Then I used kraft cardstock with the S5-211 Romantic Rectangles Two die template.  Before removing the paper I inked the inside edges with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  Then I stamped a sentiment from the CR-04915 Just A Note Vintage Sentiment Tag Clear Stamp Set from  JustRite® Papercraft.  Next I die cut the birds using black cardstock and the IN-024 Bird On A Wire die template.  All of the die templates are from  Spellbinders Paper Arts®.  I used 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L™ in between the layers and to add some dimension.

I hope you like the card I shared today.  It would be a great card and gift to give to your girlfriends.
Hope you have a Fantastic weekend!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs & Smiles,
Heidi

CAS Birthday Blessings Card

Hello blogging friends!  Today, I have a CAS card to share with you.

Using pattern paper is a great base for a CAS card.  You can let the pattern paper do almost all the work for you and it's so pretty you won't want to cover it up.

I used a pretty die cut shape and stamp the sentiment in the center, added some lace, flowers and pearls and the card was finished.  Quick--easy and CAS!

All of the supplies are listed below.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Heidi
