Easter Blessings Card

Good morning blogging friends! This past weekend I was over in Rochester, MN teaching classes at VIP Scrapbook and I had such a wonderful time!! It is always so great to see Trisha and all of the fantastic ladies that work at VIP! I love being able to see some of ladies who have taken classes from me in the past and meeting new friends too!! Everyone seemed to have a lot of fun in the classes--they learned new techniques and enjoyed making a variety of cards. If you haven't ever been to VIP you need to stop in and check it out!!

Easter is right around the corner so I thought I better get busy and start on some pretty Spring and Easter cards.

For my card I used some of the new Pop-Tones Pink Lemonade paper from Discount Cardstock. I love this soft pink color! French Paper introduces Pop-Tones — bright new flavors inspired by all things Pop, like the bop of pop music, the boldness of Pop Art, and the bubbly sweetness of Pop Rocks. The Pop-Tone line inspires sweet, fizzy, tangy fun. Spark your creativity with these new candy colors. If you haven't seen the NEW Pop-Tones papers from Discount Cardstock click HERE to check out all of the beautiful colors! I used EL-005 Splendid M-Bossabilities™ Folders from Spellbinders™ to emboss the pretty floral pattern on the bottom half of the card. Then I stamped a sentiment in the upper corner using one of the stamps from the CR-03640 Spring Words from JustRite. I used Scrap Happy Sheer Glue and White Pearls (coming soon) from The Rubber Cafe to add the flower centers.

I added a piece of Noelle White Crochet Lace Trim from Really Reasonable Ribbon and then I added some paper roses and leaves from I am Roses.

I hope you have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by!

Hugs & Smiles,
Heidi
