Okay, I am LOVING the NEW Sweet Stuff stamp set from Crafty Secrets!! Today I have this sweet little card to share with all of you.The card went together pretty quickly. The designer paper in the background is from the Earthy Paper Designs pad from Crafty Secrets and the card base is Coffee Brown CS from WorldWin. I started out with an image from the Homemade Images & Journal Notes. I think the image of this little girl is just adorable! I distressed and inked the edges of the image and then added a mat of Coffee Brown CS from WolrdWin and some brown brads. The I added the lace with red roses trim.
I stamped the cookie cutter images and then colored them with Copic markers and cut all of them out. The stamp for the cookie cutters is one larger stamp that could be used for a border or if you would like there is enough space in between the images that you could cut them apart if you would like. Then you would have six separate cookie cutter stamps. You could use them individually or you could line them up and still use them as a border.
Here is a close up of the cookie cutter images.
I also really like the open frame stamp that is around the sentiment. Several of the words/sentiments from the stamp set will fit into the open frame. After I stamped the frame and sentiment then I cut it out and inked the edges. Using some jewelry findings and wire I made a tiny little whisk and attached it with some red ribbon.Supplies~

You are doing such awesome things with these new sets my friend!!! This is ADORABLE and I LOVE the whisk ... how creative!! Keep 'em coming ... I feeling so inspired!! Can't wait to get my new sets!!!
ReplyDeleteYour wire whisk is very cute....too bad you didn't have a red handled cookie cutter for your photo...LOL! Another idea to do with this set is to emboss using a real spoon or fork through the Wizard (I have flattened versions of each)...I have a permanent outline of a spoon cut into my tan embossing mat! That was the only thing that ever cut through it. The layout is very sweet!
ReplyDeletethis is so sweet love that paper

ReplyDeleteSo sweet! did you make the tiny wisk or did you get it somewhere. It was listed as a wisk so.....I just wondered. Just too cute. The border of the cookie cutters is just precious. I think I will have to get this set. Thanks for the inspiration and sharing your talent!
