Today, I have a fun summer shape card to share with you using one of the beautiful stamps from Penny Black and the fantastic products from Faber-Castel Design•Memory•Craft.
Here is the card that I designed. I used StazOn Jet Black Ink from Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko to stamp the Sweet Dahlia Stamp image from Penny Black on to Sweet Tooth paper from DiscountCardstock.com.
I used 105, 111, 115 Aquarelles going from a yellow to a dark orange to color the image of the dahlia. Then I used a water brush to blend and watercolor the flower.
I used the Lavender and Lime Gelatos® to color the flourishes along the side and bottom of the image. Then I used some of the Stamper's Big Brush Pens to finish off the card. I used May Green for the flower stem, Orange Glaze for the frame and Light Blue for the words.
Here is a close up of the image. I used S4-389 Adorning Squares die template from Spellbinders® to cut/emboss the image. I added some diamond stickles and bling to the image for a little sparkle. ;-)
I used 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® to pop up the image. Then I used LF-018 Grand Decorative Labels One to create a mat for the image and LF-161 Grand Labels One to create the shape card.
