For my project I designed a Christmas card and matching Christmas ornament.
On the card I made a wide border using several of the ribbons in the Winter Whites collection. Then I stamped the sentiment using Rich Cocoa ink and CR-02250 Winter Words stamp set from JustRite Stampers.
Here is a close up of the little felt mitten. I used S4-285 Nested Mittens die template from Spellbinders™ and also added some of the lace and trim from the Winter White Ribbon Club collection. To create the look of little pearls I used a Viva Cream Pearl Pen.
To create the little Christmas mitten ornament I used ivory felt and the largest die template in the set from S4-285 Nested Mittens. I cut two mittens and then I did a blanket stitch around the edges, leaving the top of the mitten open.
Before sewing the two mittens together I sewed ribbon and lace trim across the top of the front mitten.
Next I die cut the flower and leaves from ivory felt using S5-050 Rose Creations, S4-328 Foliage die templates and then added color and glitter to each piece.
To add the color and glitter I used a mixture of Glimmer Mist and Liquid Laminate, applied it with a q-tip and then added the glitter. I used the Liquid Laminate as an adhesive for the glitter but it also makes the felt harden up once it's dry.
Taking a small piece of the lace trim I created a little rosette for the center of the flower.
