Hello blogging friends! Today, I have a card to share with you using Azalea Metallic, Posh Spruce Satin Sparkle, Jade Riccio Embossed, Herbal Garden Medium, Posh White Linen papers from Discount Cardstock. The Azalea Metallic cardstock is on sale this week. Click HERE for all of the details.
I love the metallic papers and I think is my favorite Christmas card so far this year.
I used S5-055 Layered Poinsettia and S4-328 Foliage die templates to create the little cluster of flowers. I used Copic Marker RV69 Peony to airbrush using the die templates as a stencil. Next I layered the flowers and leaves using 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L™. Then I added Pralines & Cream Fairy Dust Glitter from Clearsnap and I also added some pearl flower stamens and white pearls to the flower centers.
Here is a close up of the sentiment. I used CL-02155 Merry & Bright stamp set from JustRite Stampers along with gold pigment ink and gold embossing powder. The paper is Jade Riccio Embossed and has a pretty pearl finish. I used S4-344 Tear Drop Circles to create the decorative edge die cut. I also embossed the Azalea Metallic paper for the background using Grand Inpressabilities® GI-004 Fancy Flourish then I lightly sanded the paper to make the embossing pop.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! It has been snowing off and on today and it looks so pretty outside--but brrrrr is it cold. LOL! Stay warm and I hope you have a wonderful & creative day!!
Hugs & Smiles,
Heidi
