All of the papers are from g∙c∙d Studios and the die templates are from the Donna Salazar Collection and LF-246 Grand Labels Eleven by Spellbinders™.
Using the Grand Calibur cut/emboss LF-246 Grand Labels Eleven #6. Cut/Emboss S5-051 Fanciful Flight, cut S5-050 Rose Creation #1, #2, #3, #4, #5 (#1 being the smallest). Score and fold Labels Eleven at 2" and 2-1/2" on each side.
Apply adhesive to fold on left side and attach seam binding.
Sand butterfly wings **work from the center (body) outward. Place each flower die cut on to the foam pad and use a stylus/bone folder working in a circular motion to shape the flower. Working in a circular motion the flower will start to take shape.
Once each flower piece is shaped stack the flower going from the largest to the smallest for the center and apply adhesive in between each layer. Add a 72 Count - White Pearls from Want2Scrap™ to the center of the flower. Use adhesive to apply butterfly to the fold on the left and add the rose to the center of the butterfly.

so gorgeous, no wonder she used this in a demo
ReplyDeleteFirst off Heidi, what a great card. I love butterflies and flowers and love how you worked them together. But, what I really loved was you showing how to use a bone folder to shape the cards. So many times you only see artists using a stylus to shape the card. Would never have thought of using the bone folder. Great tip and thanks again for sharing.
