Tattered Angels January 2010 Guest Designer!!!

OMGosh I can't even begin to tell you how excited I was to get an email from Michelle Jackson, Creative Director for Tattered Angels, asking if I would be interested in the Guest Designer Spot for January!!! I said, Absolutely--I would be honored to be the Tattered Angels Guest Designer!!!

I love Tattered Angels products and I am sooooo very excited to see all of the NEW products at CHA!! I can't wait!!!

For today's card I have used several products from Tattered Angels--Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Screens, Glimmer Chips and Screen Prints (clear stamps). Here is a close up of the Glimmer Chips Frame from Tattered Angels and the vintage images from Crafty Secrets Birds & Botanicals Images & Journal Notes. For the frame I used two colors of Glimmer Mist, Snow Angel which is a very light pink and Old Lace a very light brown. I let the glimmer mist sit for a couple of minutes and then I heat set it to finish drying. Once the Glimmer Mist was dry I lightly rubbed Vintage Photo Distress Ink over the entire frame to pick up the embossed areas. I added the vintage images from Crafty Secrets and I also added some glitter to the images.

Now for the next few pictures I know you might be looking at then and thinking, wow the color is really off in the photos and the answer to that is no. These next photos were taken at a different angle as I was trying to show how much glimmer there is from the Glimmer Mist. At this angle a lot more of the brown tones show up in the photo. For the background I used four colors of Glimmer Mist, Snow Angel, Old Lace, Suede and Marshmallow. I also used the Decorative Corner Glimmer Screens and one of the stamps from Regal Classic Accents Screen Prints.

Here is a close up from where the Glimmer Screen and the Screen Print was used. Another close up of the frame and the vintage images. Here is a close up of the ruffle, leaf and lace trim.
