Yesterday was so hard to say goodbye to my sweet Onyx. I got him from the shelter when he was just two years old and I was lucky to have him in my life for 18 years. Twenty years old is a long life for a cat and I like to think he had a very good life. He was loved so much!! He loved to be held and cuddle and he had such a strong purr. I would hold him and he would lay his head on my shoulder and purr so loud--I will miss that. He had so much personality and spunk!! He was funny--he loved popcorn and Doritos and any time the can opener was going he would come running. :-)
Onyx was part of our family and he will be missed so very much.
May you run free in the wildflower
and always feel
the warmth of the sun.

We love you!!!
Sweet Dreams♥
SO sorry to hear, Heidi! What a long and wonderful life, he had - hugs to you all <3
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful tribute and what a beautiful cat! Our Jez turned 20 and is still going strong. My oldest adopted a kitty who had been dumped at her apartment complex (10 years earlier)-- we only knew Charlie for 1 year but he left his paw prints all over our hearts.
ReplyDeleteSending big cyber hugs for the loss of your sweet kitty...
So sorry -- it's so hard to loose a pet. Take care --
ReplyDeleteAwww, we went through this two months ago. It's so hard. ((hugs)) Miss our little guy every day. At least I can eat an apple and not have a furry cheek next to mine sharing... *sigh*
ReplyDeleteSuch a sad loss of your beautiful cat...
ReplyDeleteSo sorry Heidi, as you know I just lost my little Missy about a month ago. Big {{{hugs}}} coming your way.
