Really Reasonable Ribbon October Blog Hop - Snowflake Christmas Ornament Card

Hello blogging friends!  Today, is the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop for the month of October.  The RRR Design Team Members and Special Events Design Team Members will be showcasing the Monthly Ribbon Club.

This month there is a wonderful assortment of Non-Traditional Holiday ribbons including printed ribbons, pink, green, gray and turquoise in the October Ribbon Club.   This ribbon assortment is prefect for the holidays!  Click HERE for more details on how you can sign up for the Monthly Ribbon Club.

Before I share my project today I want to let you know this will be my last Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop post. I have been on the Special Events Design Team for the past two years and I have decided to step down.  I want to say a Huge Thank You to Bonnie!!  She has been so wonderful to work with and I have met so many amazing women on the DT over the past two years!!

If you are following the order of the blog hop you should have just come from Bonnie's Blog. If not and you just happened to pop in for a visit please click HERE to start the blog hop at the Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings! Blog.

For my project I created a Christmas card with non-traditional colors to match the Really Reasonable Ribbon October Ribbon Club.  As soon as I got my ribbon I knew exactly what paper I wanted to use.  The October Ribbon Club assortment matches the My Mind's Eye Merry Little Christmas Collection perfectly!  I used the S4-401 2013 Heirloom Ornaments, S5-185 2013 Snowflake Pendant and S4-404 Create-A-Flake Five die templates from Spellbinders Creative Arts® to create all of the die cut shapes.  After I die cut the ornament I inked the edges with Memento Teal Zeal ink.  Then I layered the die cut snowflakes and added 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® in between the layers.

Here is a close up of the bow on top of the ornament.  I used some of the turquoise ribbon and white crochet trim from the Really Reasonable Ribbon October Ribbon Club.

To finish off the card I added some bling to the snowflake.

I want to say a Huge Thank You to all of the Really Reasonable Ribbon Followers for all of your support and wonderful comments over the past two years!!  I hope you will continue to follow my blog and stay in touch.  ;-)  Enjoy the RRR Blog Hop--I know you will find all kinds of inspiration!

Now to continue in the Blog Hop you need to hop on over to Jenn's Blog and check out her fantastic project!

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you enjoy the Really Reasonable Blog Hop!! Don't forget to visit the RRR Store and check out all of the beautiful ribbons, lace and trims--and don't forgot the WOC flowers! ;-)
