Happily Ever After Wedding Card

Hello everyone!  I know it has been a few days since my last post but my little fingers have been busy creating projects for CHA!  Nothing I can share with you just yet but I will say I am loving a lot of new products! ;-)  Today, I have a wedding card to share with you.  Over the next few days you will be seeing a couple more wedding cards--it's that time of the year.

Here is the card that I designed.  I used Simply Smooth Ivory and  Mountain Rose Metallic papers from  DiscountCardstock.com.  I used E3D-006 Framed Labels Eighteen 3D M-bossabilities™ folder to create the beautiful crisp emboss on the Mountain Rose Metallic paper.

Next I did the direct ink technique and lightly rubbed the Brilliance Platinum Planet ink from Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko over all the embossed area.  I absolutely love how this turned out!  So beautiful and soft looking.

Next I used Simply Smooth Ivory paper and Momento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the sentiment from the CR-03825 Ever After Antique Labels One stamp set from JustRite Papercraft®.  I also stamped the little flourish heart shaped accents in the corners.  I used 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® for a little added dimension.  Then I added some Cream Seam Binding and Kaisercraft Plum Pearls from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The beautiful Ivory Venise Lace Trim and Ivory Roses are from Simply Paveena.  I also brushed a little Pssst! Sheer Shimmer Spritz Sparkle on to the label and the roses.  Just a little tip--If you only have a little bit of the shimmer spritz in the bottle dip a paint brush into the bottle to pick up the shimmer spritz and brush it on to your flowers.  They will be SO shimmery!

Here is a close up of the rose so you can see all of the shimmer.  I love how the roses sparkle!

Just in case you missed it today over on the JustRite Inspiration Blog the JustRite Design Team Members  are teamed up with Samantha Walker's Design Team Members and they are having a Blog Hop!  Today (6/27) is day one.  I am in the Blog Hop for the second day which is tomorrow (6/28).  Hop on over the the JustRite Inspiration Blog so you can check it out!  Plus you have a chance to wins some Fabulous Prizes!!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
I hope you are having a wonderful week!!

Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop - August Ribbon Club

Good morning blogging friends!  Today, is the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop for the month of August.  The RRR Design Team Members and Special Events Design Team Members will be showcasing the Monthly Ribbon Club

This month there is a wonderful assortment of Purple and Gray ribbons included in the August Ribbon Club. Click HERE for more details.

If you are following the order of the blog hop you should have just come from Bonnie's Blog. If not and you just happened to pop in for a visit please click HERE to start the blog hop at the Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings! Blog.

For my project I made a card using a sheer gray with a diamond pattern and a sparkly purple ribbon, both from the August Ribbon Club.

I created a layered ruffle using the same ribbons, a piece of purple cardstock cut into a circle and hot glue.    I used the layered ribbon ruffle to showcase my flower embellishment.

Here is a close up of the Handmade Faux Metal Flower Embellishment with the layered ribbon ruffles.

To create the label with the sentiment I used S4-161 Labels One die template from Spellbinders.  I cut/embossed the label and then I stamped the sentiment using Tuxedo Black ink and H-811 Friends stamp set from The Rubber Cafe.  Then I used Copic marker V15 to airbrush the inside edges of the die cut.

Here is a close up of the sentiment.  I used S4-379 Decorative Labels One die template and Soot cardstock to create the decorative label and then I layered the two labels using 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

I added a trinket pin from Maya Roads and a handmade stickpin that I made.  I also added a bow to the top of the card and finished it off with some bling swirls.

To create the mats for the card I used S5-131 A-2 Matting Basics A and S5-132 A-2 Matting Basics B die templates from Spellbinders.  All of the cardstock is from Discount Cardstock and the pattern paper is from Kaisercraft The Lake House 6-1/2 Paper Pad Collection.

Now to continue in the blog hop you need to hop on over to Patti's Blog and check out her fantastic project!

Here is a card I designed using papers from Discount Cardstock, die templates from Spellbinders and stamps and embellishments from Pro 31 Designs.

I used Sea BlueBaronial Ivory Laid and Berry Pink papers from Discount Cardstock for the butterflies.  I used  S5-051 Fanciful FlightS5-101 Wings of HopeLF-006 Wonderful Wings die templates and the Grand Calibur to cut/emboss the die cut shapes.  Then I layered the three butterflies and added  Circle Pearl Sprays to the top wings, Pearl Sprays at the bottom and a little cluster of Blue Porcelain Roses all from Pro 31 Designs.

For the background I used Peacock Feathers Distress Ink from Ranger and a stamp from the Pink Paislee London Market Rare Finds & Curiosities Collection.

Spellbinders™ Paper Arts Blog

Here is the card that I designed using the NEW Release Beauty Within from Flourishes. Talk about an absolutely BEAUTIFUL stamp set!! The images of the roses and iris are so pretty and the sentiments are fantastic too! I started by stamping the image of the stained glass roses onto white cardstock using black ink. This image matches perfectly with Labels Eleven S4-246 (Die #5) die template from Spellbinders™. Then I lined up the die template with the stamped image and used some tape to hold the template in place. I cut/embossed with the Wizard™ creating an elegant diecut shape. Next I colored the image using Copic markers. In the picture you can see I didn't color and do all of the shading in the center of all of the roses. I left some of them because I stamped the image of the roses a couple more times, colored the centers and cut then out for layering. Once I had all of the piece colored and cut out then I layered them and applied Glossy Accents from Ranger.I used the Wizard™ and Labels Eleven S4-246 Die #6 from Spellbinders™ to create a black mat and Floral Accent S4-199 to create white flourishes along the sides and I also added some tiny pearls.I stamped the sentiment onto white cardstock and then cut/embossed using the Wizard™ and Fancy Tags S4-235 die template from Spellbinders™. I added some dimension to the tag using 3D Foam Squares from SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES By 3L™ and then I added some pink velvet ribbon and pearls. I also stamped the image of the smaller rose from the Beauty Within stamp set, colored with Copics, cut out the image and added it to the tag. Here is a close-up of the roses. I love the look that is achieved by layering the rose petals.I also used the Flourish Impressabilities™ I2-1009 on the pink shimmer paper.
