The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store - Happy Birthday Butterfly Card

Hello and Happy Monday to everyone!  Today, is my day to post for The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store and I have a pretty Happy Birthday card to share with you that is filled with lots of sparkle.

**EDIT--Please read!  Hello everyone!  I have received a few comments and emails about the Spellbinders contest.  The links for the contest are on the Designer's blog when it is their day to post for the contest---NOT on all of the blogs.  So please visit the Designer's blogs for each day of the contest--they are listed on the Spellbinders blog.  Thanks!  My day for the contest will be Thursday April 3rd so I hope you will stop back!  ;-)

The card is a 5-1/2 x 5-1/2 square.  I used kraft cardstock for the base and then I added a mat of light blue.  The pattern paper is from the Melissa Frances Classic Elegance 6 x 6 Paper Pad.  The paper has a very faint script pattern and papers like this are perfect for adding a stamped image.  I used the LaBlanche Silicone Stamp Swirl Background stamp with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Vintage Photo and then I colored the image with Spectrum Noir™ Markers TB1, LG1.  Next I added Tombow Multi Mono Liquid Glue and applied  Tim Holtz Distress Glitter Clear Rock Candy

Here is a close up of the stamped image.  I love all of the sparkle!

Next I created a few die cuts using S2-073 FluttersS2-083 Flutter Tree, and S2-082 Sentiments One die templates.  I used another piece of the pattern paper for the butterflies and light blue for the sentiment.  I also added some Tim Holtz Distress Glitter Clear Rock Candy and Darice Sequins 5mm Iridescent White.

I love how this card came together and the soft colors.

I hope you enjoyed the card today.

As always you can click on all the photos to enlarge them and all of the supplies are listed below with links.

I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
Please be sure to check out The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store for all of the fantastic paper crafting products and the Blog for inspiration from the Design Team.

Just Because CAS Card

Hello blogging friends!  Today, I have a CAS (Clean And Simple) card to share with you.  Clean and simple cards can be a challenge for me--not me usual style.  But when an idea pops into my head and I can whip up a card start to finish in 5-10 minutes I get pretty excited LOL!

Ok, here it is!  Can't get much more CAS for me.  All of the supplies are listed and linked below.  The card came together so quick and easy!  The only details to really share would be that I just used the top half of the M-bossabilites folder.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Heidi

Today - Retirement Card

Hello everyone!  Today, I have a card to share with you that I made for one of my husband's coworkers who recently retired.

I used milk chocolate cardstock for the base of the card and then I added a black mat with distressed edges.  I took a 5x7 piece of the milk chocolate and embossed it with the E3D-017 Oval Accent M-bossabilities Folder.  Then I rubbed Imagine Crafts/Tuskineko Versa Mark Ink around the outer edges and applied Stampendous Aged Ivory Embossing Enamel and heat set it with a heat tool.  I love using this embossing enamel--it has a great texture and gives projects that aged and distressed look.  I found the sentiment on the internet, typed it up and printed it.  Then I used S4-110 Classic Ovals LG to die cut the sentiment.  I used Ranger Distress Ink Antique Linen to ink the outer edges of the die cut.  I also die cut another shape using one of the die templates from the S5-216 A2 Tranquil Moments set.  You can see it peeking out behind the sentiment.  I popped the sentiment up using 3D Foam Squares and then I added some handmade enamel dots using Glossy Accents.

Here is a close up of the sentiment.

To create the decorative bezel I used an image from The Paper Studio Vintage Bottle Cap Sticker Pack and die cut it using the GLD-005 Iron Cross Dies.  I placed the die cut inside the GLSB-005 Iron Cross Bezel and added a clear acrylic circle sticker to the center.  Then I used some brown jute to attach the bezel to the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Hugs & Smiles,
Heidi

ButterBeeScraps - Black Rose & Silver Filigree Necklace and Earrings

Hello blogging friends!  I have another jewelry project for ButterBeeScraps to share with you today.

I designed a necklace and earring set.  I love this Silver Filigree (J347S)!  It is so pretty with the little flowers on each side.  I added a black rose Resin Flower Embellishments (Item #RES606-BK) to the center of the filigree.  I used E-6000 to apply the resin rose.  The piece I made for the dangle is the same as the earrings.   I started with a head pin and added a small silver glass pearl and then a Rhinestone Rondelle Spacer Beads (Item #BD008-P/CL).  Next I added a large silver glass pearl and another small silver glass pearl.  I finished it off by adding a  Frosted Acrylic Flower Beads (Item #ABD332-BK).   I added the dangle to the bottom of the filigree piece and for the earrings I added french hooks.  I used Silver Chain (CH876-P) and the length of the chain is 26 inches.

Here is a close up of all the items I used from ButterBeeScraps.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Happy Friday!

ButterBeeScraps - Lavender Rose Cameo Bracelet

Hello everyone!  Today, I have a beautiful cameo bracelet that I designed to share with you.  Almost all of the materials used are from ButterBeeScraps and I everything listed and linked below.

I just LOVE this Small Lavender Cameos (Item #CAM37-LV) with the Small Bronze Cameo Frames (Item #F790-B).  I think they look so gorgeous together.  For the base of the bracelet I used one of the Bronze Bangle Bracelet (Item #J223-B) from ButterBeeScraps.  The bracelets are so easy to use and you can create your own unique jewelry pieces.

Here is a close up of the cameo.  I added some SS12 Amethyst Flat Back Glass Rhinestones on to the frame.  I used E-6000 to adhere the larger pieces and for the tiny rhinestones I used G-S Hypo Cement.

Since the frame is designed to be able to make a necklace there is a loop hole on the one end.  I thought about cutting it off and filing it down but I wasn't sure it would be smooth enough and I didn't want to mess up the bronze finish.  So I added a Bronze Jump Ring a few bead dangles.  The beads are from my stash.

I just love how this bracelet turned out!
I made this one for my mom and I am sure I will be making more.  ;-)

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store - You Make Me Happy Card

Hello and Happy Monday to everyone!  Today, is my day to post for The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store and I have a pretty Spring floral card to share with you using some of the papers from the Kaisercraft Telegraph Road 6 1/2'' Paper Pad.

I was so happy that this card came together so quick and easy--love it when that happens!  I used pink cardstock for a base and all of the other paper is from the Kaisercraft Telegraph Road 6 1/2'' Paper Pad.  I used S5-131 A2 Matting Basics A and S5-181 A2 Bracket Borders One die templates from Spellbinders Paper Arts® to create the die cuts.  The circle sentiment is from the paper pad and I added 3D Foam Squares to pop it up and add a little dimension.

Here is a close up of the roses and sentiment.  Check out the little rose buds.  I removed the small flower centers from the larger flowers in the Prima Le Mia Pink Flowers packet.

Here you can see what the roses looked like before and after I removed the center.  Once the rose bud was removed I added a Sparklet from Kaisercraft to the center of the flower.

I added some of the beautiful Venise Lace .75'' Lucia White to the top of the card.

To finish off the card I added a few Kaisercraft Light Pink Rhinestones to the bottom corners.

I hope you enjoyed the card today.

As always you can click on all the photos to enlarge them and all of the supplies are listed below with links.

I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

Guest Designer for Craft-Dee BowZ - Easter Blessings Card

Hello everyone!  I am so excited and honored to be the Guest Designer for Craft-Dee BowZ for the month of March!  I was thrilled when I received the email from Donna!  I am having a lot of fun creating beautiful bows with the Craft-Dee BowZ tool.  I love that the dowels are metal and everything is self-contained.  I also love being able to create a wonderful variety of different size bows.

Here is a look at the card I designed.  I stamped the image fromCR-03660 Easter Blessings clear stamp set from  JustRite Papercraft on to simply smooth white cardstock using Rich Cocoa ink and then I colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers.  To create the die cuts I used S4-425 Elegant Ovals from Spellbinder Paper Arts®.  The metallic background was embossed using E3D-015 Tiger Lilies M-Bossabilities Folder from Spellbinder Paper Arts .  The base of the card is a light yellow layered with a celery green mat.  I adhered the two top layers together and then I added some Celery 1.25'' Silk and Ivory 1/4'' Silk ribbons from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.  Next I layered the die cuts using 3D Foam Squares and applied them to the card.  I used the Craft-Dee BowZ tool to create the beautiful little bow.  I love bows with lots of loops so I followed the Multiple Loops-Figure Eight Method for creating the bow.

Here is a close up of the bow.  The Craft-Dee BowZ tool is so easy to use and I love using it with silk ribbon.  Sometimes when I am trying to make a bow with just my hands the silk ribbon is so silky smooth and it slips right through my fingers but when I'm using the Craft-Dee BowZ tool I don't have to worry about that at all!  Love it!

These are the colors of the  Spectrum Noir™ markers I used to color the image.

To finish off the card I added a little sparkle using the Zig Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen and a few pearls.

Thank you so much for joining me today! Also a Huge Thank You to Donna and Barbara for asking me to be a Guest Designer!!  Please be sure to hop on over to the Craft-Dee BowZ Blog and check it out.  They have a wonderful Design Team with lot of inspiration and they also do a monthly challenge.

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Hugs & Smiles,
Heidi

The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store - Sweet Sentiments Easter Candy Box

Hello and Happy St. Patrick's Day!  Today, is my day to post for The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.  I don't happen to have an Irish themed project to share with you but at least there is a little bit of green in it from the candy LOL!

I used one of the Crystal Clear Boxes-5.5'' Square from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store and I altered it using some of the beautiful pattern papers from the Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments Collection.  This is so quick and easy to make and it's a great little sweet Easter treat to give.  I cut two strips of the pattern paper to make a belly band for the box.  Then I fussy cut some of the images and cut more pattern paper to to layer them with.  On the belly band and the lavender and polk-a-dot paper I inked the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad-Dusty Concord.  I used 3D Foam Squares to pop the images up a little and adhered them to the front of the box.

Here is a close up of the images.

Then I filled the box with some pretty pastel Jordan almonds .

Like I said this was very quick and easy but it gives a beautiful presentation.

As always you can click on all the photos to enlarge them and all of the supplies are listed below with links.

I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store - Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments Canvas

Hello blogging friends and Happy Monday to everyone!  Today, is my day to post for The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store and I have a beautiful altered canvas using some of the papers from the Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments Collection to share with you.

Here is the canvas--it's an 8 x 8--perfect size for the 8 x 8 paper pads.  I just absolutely love this paper and the gorgeous images!  As soon as I saw this paper I knew I wanted to make some type of wall hanging with it.  Now I know at first glance this might look like a project that took all day but it actually came together pretty quick.  Nothing hard or complicated--just some fussy cutting, layering and gluing. Plus I have a step-by-step tutorial for you too.  ;-)

Here is a close up look at the canvas.  You can click on all of the photos to enlarge them and see all the details.

To start I used Folk Art Acrylic Paint-Linen to paint the sides and outer edges of the canvas.

I used two sheets of this pattern paper and while the canvas was drying I fussy cut these images.

Next I adhered the 8 x 8 sheet of paper to the canvas and then I added all of the pieces I had fussy cut.  I used 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L™ to adhere all of the pieces and add some dimension.

I wanted to add a little sparkle so I used Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue and Tim Holtz Distress Glitter Clear Rock Candy.

To finish off the canvas I added some beautiful laces and trims from
The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.  I added one of the trims all around the edge of the canvas and then I added some along the bottom and sides.

Here is a close up of some of the laces from the  May Arts Ribbon Sampler Delicate Vintage Lace.  I also used some 1/4'' White Silk Ribbon and May Arts Ribbon Sampler Vintage Pink.

Here is a close up of the gorgeous venise lace!  I used Venise Lace 1.25" - Maria WhiteVenise Lace 2.5" - Isabella Ivory and then I added some Melissa Frances Cream Pearls.

I hope you enjoyed the canvas and the tutorial!

As always you can click on all the photos to enlarge them and all of the supplies are listed below with links.

Pansies In Spring Cling Stamps - SVG Files - JustRite Papercraft March Release Day Four

Hello blogging friends!  Today, is day four of the JustRite® Papercraft March Release.  The Design Team is showcasing a stamp set and a match SVG digital cut file.

CL-02013 Pansies in Spring Cling Stamps  I love this stamp set!  Pansies are one of my favorite flowers.

The blue shaded items in the product photo represent the images you will get in your download.

I altered a little frame using both the CL-02013 Pansies in Spring Cling Stamps and SVG-02013 SVG Pansies in Spring Digital Cut File Download for CL-02013.  I used the exact cut file for the pansies.  You can click HERE for a tutorial to see how I stamp an exact cut.  I used simply smooth white cardstock and Memento Rich Cocoa ink to stamp the images and then I colored them with Copic markers.

For the sentiment I used Memento Grape Jelly ink.

For a little sparkle I added some diamond stickles and a few sequins.  I just love how this little frame turned out!  It's a quick DIY project and it's a great accent piece on my desk.

Please be sure to visit all of the Designers in the link list below to see what they have created to share with you.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you have a great weekend!

Heidi
