JustRite Stampers - New Release - Starburst Medallion Labels

Good morning blogging friends! Today I have another New Release from JustRite Stampers to share with you. The stamp set I am using today is CL-03530 Starburst Medallion Labels.

Here is the card that I designed using CL-03530 Starburst Medallion Labels stamp set.

This stamp set includes two beautiful medallions, a border and six sentiments for a total of nine stamps.

To start I stamped one of the medallion images three times using Frost White ink and Kraft cardstock.

Next I die cut one of the images using JB- 10020 Nested Medallion Labels die templates and I fussy cut the other two images. I also made another die cut using the largest die template in the Nested Medallions set with Simply Smooth White cardstock to use for a mat.

I cut/embossed another die cut shape using S5-063 Lace Doily Motifs from Spellbinders. Then I used Scrap Happy Sheer Glue and added You're so fine Glitter Diamond Clear Cool Highlights to the lacy edges.

I layered all of the piece using 3D Foam Squares to add some dimension.

I added a sentiment to the top corner.

To finish off the card I added a few Pearl Jellie Dots.

JustRite Stampers - New Release - Warm and Cozy Medallion Labels

Good morning blogging friends! Today, I have another fantastic New Release from JustRite Stampers to share with all of you.

Here is the card I designed using the New Stamp Set--CL-03540 Warm and Cozy Medallion Labels.

This stamp set includes two beautiful Medallion Labels and five sentiments for a total of seven stamps.

To start I stamped the image onto Simply Smooth White Cardstock with Rich Cocoa ink and added the color using Prismacolor Colored Pencils.

Then I die cut the stamped image using JustRite Custom Die JB-10020 Nested Medallion Labels from JustRite Stampers. I also die cut S5-043 Fleur de Lis Doily Motifs die template from Spellbinders with Herbal Garden Medium Prismatics cardstock. I used the Grand Calibur to cut/emboss the die cut shapes.

After I layered the die cuts then I wanted to add some glitter to the white areas of the stamped image so I applied Scrap Happy Sheer Glue from The Rubber Cafe. This glue is perfect for adding glitter because it stays sticky/tacky even once it is dry so you don't have to rush to apply your glue and glitter.

After I let the glue sit for a minute then I applied the You're So Fine Glitter Diamond Clear Cool Highlight. The glitter is powder fine and I just rubbed it on with my fingers and then tap off the excess.

Here is a close up of the Medallion.

I stamped one of the the sentiments from the stamp set in the lower corner with Rich Cocoa ink.

I added a bow made with Dusty Olive and Peacock Seam Binding from Really Reasonable Ribbon and a heart charm. I also added a few Pearl Jellie Dots for embellishments.

JustRite Stampers - New Release - Your Special Day Medallion Labels

Good morning blogging friends! The sun is shinning and it looks like it's going to be another beautiful day. I can't believe how crazy this weather is--it's going to be in the high 40's today and once again the snow is almost gone. Today, I have another New Release from JustRite Stampers to share with you.

Here is my card I designed using the New CL-03545 Your Special Day Medallion Labels and CL-03635 Lace Borders Two. I also used CL-03550 Vintage Wallpaper Background on the top half of the card.

Here is CL-03545 Your Special Day Medallion Labels stamp set. This set includes three beautiful and decorative frame, two accents and nine sentiments for a total of fourteen stamps! This stamp set is also designed to match JustRite Custom Dies JB-10020 Nested Medallion Labels and JB-10025 Nested Oval Medallion Labels.

I was out doing a little bit of shopping on Wednesday and I was thrilled to find this New Adhesive Fabric Paper from DCWV, they were just putting it out on the shelves. I know they are calling it fabric paper but basically it is fabric with an adhesive and paper backing and I thought this would be great for die cutting!

To start I tested a little piece of the fabric paper because I wanted to see if I could stamp on it and I was very happy with the results. I used one of the frames and a sentiment from CL-03545 Your Special Day Medallion Labels and a deep pink chalk ink from Clearsnap to stamp on the light pink fabric. Then I carefully heat set the ink with my heat tool. Next I used JustRite Custom Dies JB-10020 Nested Medallion Label Dies and the Grand Calibur from Spellbinders to cut the shapes. **Note when die cutting fabric you have to remember there are all different kinds of fabrics and you are cutting through all of those fibers. Most fabrics will cut beautifully but sometimes you might need to add a piece of paper for a shim and for other fabrics if you apply something like wonder under it will make the fabric a little stiffer and easier to cut.

Next I stamped CL-03550 Vintage Wallpaper Background on the top half of the cardstock and then applied a piece of the fabric paper to the bottom half. You can kind of see through the fabric paper so I added a wide border to the middle to cover this area up.

I stamped one of the borders from CL-03635 Lace Borders Two and then I added Azalea Satin Double Ruffle ribbon and Penelope Natural Crochet Lace trim from Really Reasonable Ribbon to create the border.

Here are a couple of close up pictures. I love how the stamping looks on the fabric. I added some Diva Pink and Pearl Jellie Dot from The Rubber Cafe for embellishments.

Here is the card that I designed using CL-03535 Always & Forever Medallion Labels and JustRite Custom Dies JB-10020 Nested Medallion Labels and JB-10025 Nested Oval Medallion Labels.

I stamped two of the images from the set on to Simply Smooth Ivory cardstock and then I added the color with inks and Crimson Lake Prismacolor colored pencil. After I had the coloring done then I cut/emboss the images using the New JustRite Custom Dies JB-10020 Nested Medallion Labels and JB-10025 Nested Oval Medallion Labels and the Grand Calibur from Spellbinders.

Happy New Year & Some Exciting News to Share!!

Hello blogging friends! Happy New Year to all of you!!

I have to tell you I am SO looking forward to 2012!! 2011 was a good year but it had a lot of ups and downs and I guess I would have to say it was a year with some very eye opening experiences. I am thankful for both the ups and the downs because even though the down times can be really hard to go through I think they make a person stronger. I also believe that during those times when you might not know what the best direction is God will always show you where you need to be--so for that I am very thankful and it makes going through the down times worth it in the end. I am ready for the New Year and ready to move on from the past. ;-)

Speaking of the New Year and moving on...

I am SO excited to announce that I will be joining the Vintage Street Market Design Team!! I was the Guest Designer for VSM during the month of December and I was so honored when Michelle Jackson, owner of VSM asked me if I would like to join the Design Team. I am thrilled to be joining such a talented and amazing group of ladies!! My first blog post for VSM will go live tomorrow so I hope you will stop back and check it out!!

Thank you so much for stopping by today and
I wish you all the best in your creative journey for 2012!!
Happy New Year!!!!!

Hugs & Smiles,

Christmas Cheer Layout

Hello Blogging Friends! I can't believe it's already New Year's Eve!! It seems like this past year just kind of flew by. If you go out to celebrate tonight please be safe!! We are staying in this year. Not really sure what we are going to do--maybe just hang out, watch some movies and have some goodies. We just celebrated our last Christmas celebration last night and it was so nice to see everyone.

Today, I have a Christmas layout to share with you. The picture is from this year when we went over to my parents house for Christmas. It's just a simple picture with the Christmas tree and some presents but I love how the lights reflect off of the window--it looks so pretty!

I used Simply Smooth Ivory and Soot solid cardstock from Discount Cardstock and the Christmas Emporium Collection from Graphic 45.

To create the beautiful poinsettia I used ivory felt and die cut it using S5-055 Layered Poinsettia and S4-328 Foliage die templates from Spellbinders and then I airbrushed the felt with Copic markers to color the die cuts. Then I added You're So Fine Glitter--Patriot Red, Limeade Green, Diamond Clear Cool Highlight using Scrap Happy Sheer Glue from The Rubber Cafe. I added a Seam Binding border and bow using Dusty Olive Seam Binding from Really Reasonable Ribbon and some Red Rhinestones Baby Bling from Want2Scrap.

I added the title Christmas Cheer and then I added a die cut Christmas ornament using S4-344 2011 Heirloom Ornament and one of the stamps from CL-02155 Merry & Bright stamp set from JustRite Stampers. I used some Cherry Baker's Twine as a hanger for the ornament.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a Happy and Safe New Years!! Please stop back tomorrow as I will have some exciting news to share with all of you!!

Hugs & Smiles,
Heidi
