My Booth at Chapel Con 2018! Sharing Artwork and Jewelry

Hello everyone!  This past weekend I set up a booth at Chapel Con to sell some of my artwork and jewelry.  This event is held in my hometown.  It's also the largest event I have ever set up at -- 2 arenas filled (100+ booths) with actors, cosplayers, vendors, artists, vehicles from movies/tv series, and food.  This was the 2nd year for Chapel Con and from what I heard from everyone it was even bigger and better than the first year.  There was a wonderful line up of actors including -- Ryan Hurst (Harold "Opie" Winston on Sons of Anarchy), Sam Jones (Flash Gordon), Kiowa Gordon (Embry Call in the Twilight Saga), Joshua Mikel (Jared on Walking Dead), RJ Mitte ( Walter White Jr in Breaking Bad), Aaron Schwartz (Heavyweights, The Mighty Ducks, Guardians of the Galaxy vol 2), Jayson Warner Smith (Gavin on Walking Dead), and Charles Wright (WWE Hall of Fame).  Another fantastic line up of cosplayers including -- Superkayce, Oh My Sophii! (She bought a piece of my art work!), Knightmage, Sirynrae, Hannah Eva, and Aradia Tombes.

We started setting up the booth on Thursday and finished up early Saturday morning before the show opened.  The weekend before the event was my family reunion and several family members asked if I would post pictures of my booth, artwork, and jewelry.  These are a few of the pictures and I will be sharing more closeups over the next week or so and including more details about the pieces.  The artwork includes fluid acrylic painting, resin art, alcohol ink/foiling and resin art, alcohol ink and resin art.  I also had a table for my handmade jewelry.

Here is a look at the inside of the booth with artwork.  Just as a reminder you can click on all of the images to enlarge them and be able to see more details.

"80's Rock On"
16 x 20 canvas
This is one of my favorite pieces.  This is a fluid acrylic painting with a top coat of resin.

12 x 24 canvas
This is another fluid acrylic painting.
This piece has a glazed top coat.

8 x 8 gallery wood panel
Alcohol ink with gold foiling and a top coat of resin.

8 x 8 gallery wood panel
Alcohol ink with gold foiling and a top coat of resin. This piece also includes a resin mermaid and is embellished with crystals, sea glass, shells, confetti, and glitter for lots of texture, shimmer and sparkle.  This is another favorite piece of mine.

These are a couple sets of coasters.  Alcohol inks, resin, and gold gilding flakes were used to create these.  The coasters measure 4 x 4.  They protect the surface of your furniture and look beautiful at the same time.

This is the Blue Paradise Geode and Resin Canvas with Art Resin that I posted a couple weeks ago.  If you missed the post you can click HERE to see more pictures and find out all of the details.

This is a mermaid jewelry tray.  The tray and mermaid are both metal with a bronze finish and the mermaid has a patina finish.  Crystals, sea glass, shells, confetti, glitter, and sand were added to the resin to create this beautiful piece.

This is another fluid acrylic painting.

This is a screen door that we painted and added decorative legs to for a display piece.  A huge thanks to my oldest son, Dusty for all his help in getting some of my display pieces ready for the show!  All of the pieces shown are fluid acrylic paintings with a glaze top coat.

Sorry, I can't remember what size this canvas is!
This is called a "tree ring" pour.  It's a fluid acrylic paintings with a glaze top coat.

This is a picture on the outside of the booth looking in.

"Mermaid in the Sparkling Sea"
16 x 20 canvas
This is a fluid acrylic painting with a couple layers of resin.  The mermaid is a very light weight wood piece I painted black and adhered to the canvas.  Then in the bottom right corner and going up the side I added crystals, sea glass, shells, confetti, and glitter.  There is also glitter sprinkled throughout the piece for added sparkle and shimmer and then a top coat of resin on the entire piece.

Here is a picture of my jewelry display.

One more picture of the jewelry table.

There is a lot of work that goes into preparing for an event like this.  The past few months our house has been taken over by artwork.  Every flat surface was used for drying artwork lol.  A HUGE HUGE thanks and shout out to my husband, Eric and boys, Dusty and Evan for being so supportive of my creative journey throughout the years and especially during the crazy creative chaos of getting ready for a show!!!  If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be able to do what I do.

Like I said I will be sharing more pictures over the next week or so of artwork and jewelry along with more details about the pieces.

These are some of the products used the create the art pieces.
