Spellbinders and Unity Stamp Company Blog Hop! Day 2

Welcome to our TWO-day event!

You should be joining me from Robin Weatherspoon's blog, if not then head to the beginning on the Unity Stamp Co. Blog.

With all the blog-swaps that are happening out there lately, I can’t think of one more exciting than when the amazing women of SPELLBINDERS™ get together with the rock stars of UNITY STAMP COMPANY!

We can’t wait to show you a special line of coordinating products featuring SPELLBINDERS dies and SAMANTHA WALKER for Unity Stamp Co. rubber stamps!

Not only are we thrilled to be collaborating on such a special 2-day event, but ONE of you will win ALL of the coordinating stamps and dies from the Samantha Walker collection! We will also have 1 winner each day from the comments that will receive 1 Samantha Walker stamp set and coordinating dies.

So be sure to enjoy our hop both days, leave comments on all of the blogs each day and check back to see if you won!

(winners will be posted on Wednesday, October 19th on the Unity Blog and Spellbinders Blog)

Here is the card I designed using Samantha Walker's, S5-074 Retro Mod Clocks die templates from Spellbinders™ and the Retro Mod Clocks stamps from the Unity Stamp Company.

I went with a shabby chic look for my clock. To achieve this look I used S5-074 Retro Mod Clocks die templates to cut the clock shape and then I placed the die cut on top of the inked clock image and I lightly tapped on the back of the cardstock. doing this gave the stamped image somewhat of a distressed look. Next I added a little color using Copic marker R83 Rose Mist, inked the edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink and then added Pralines & Cream Fairy Dust Glitter from Clearsnap and LeCreme Pearls Baby Bling from Want2Scrap™. The pattern paper is from My Mind's Eye Vanity Fair Collection.

To create the decorative edge I used E8-002 Classic Bracket Edgeabilites® die templates from Spellbinders. I also inked the edges and added Black Rhinestone Baby Bling and LeCreme Pearls Baby Bling.

I stamped the sentiment in the upper corner and added Finesse Swirls Black Rhinestones from Want2Scrap along with a seam binding bow and a rose. I used S5-050 Rose Creations to create the rose embellishment.
