Good morning! Today is the beginning of the 12 week
JustRite Christmas Blog Wednesday!! To kick off the 12-weeks of Christmas Blog Hop Wednesdays,
JustRite is offering a free shipping coupon code for September 8-10.
Please enter this code into the promotional code box at checkout: CBHOP1. The offer will expire at midnight PST September 10th and is only good for orders shipped within the United States and its US Territories. I have a link list a the bottom of this post so you will be able to visit east of the JustRite Stampers DT Member's blogs.
Here is the card I created for today's
JustRite Christmas Blog Hop. I used the
JB-09785 Vintage Christmas and
JB-09255 Christmas Nested Sentiments & Verse from
JustRite Stampers. The paper is from
My Mind's Eye, The Merry Days of Christmas and I also used
Spellbinders™ die templates.
To start I stamped the image of the snowman from the
JB-09785 Vintage Christmas stamp set from
JustRite onto white cardstock with
Memento Rich Cocoa Ink. Then I colored in the hat with
Copic markers.
Next I colored in the scarf and band on the hat with
Copic markers.
I hand cut the images of the hat and scarf and then stamped the image again and colored the outer edges with
Copic markers.
I used
S4-114 Standard Circles Large dies #4 to cut/emboss the circle diecut.
Next I stamped the border and used
S4-114 Standard Circles Large dies #6 to cut/emboss a larger circle diecut.
I layered all of the images together using
3D Foam Squares from
SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES By 3L™ and I added a few green rhinestones.
Here is a close-up of the snowman image on the card. I also used
S4-249 Big Scalloped Circles Large die #6 to create a mat.
Then I created the mittens using
S4-285 Nested Mittens. To create a pair of mittens cut one and then flip your paper to the other side and cut the other one.
Here is a close-up of the mittens on the card. I added some brown ribbon and rhinestones.
For the sentiment I used
JB-09255 Christmas Nested Sentiments & Verse along with
JB-09520 Clear Horizontal Stampers-2 pack (1-5/8'' x 3-1/2'').
Then I airbrushed a rhinestone swirl sticker with
Copic markers.
Here is a close-up of the sentiment on the card.
