Crafty Secrets - New Releases - Celebrate Life Card
Hello blogging friends! OMGosh I can't believe I will be leaving in just a couple of days for CHA!! The time is just flying by--so many things to do and so little time--LOL!! All of the companies are coming out with their new products and the sneak peeks are popping up all over blog land!! Speaking of sneak peeks you will have to check out the Crafty Secrets Heartwarming Vintage Blog. This past week Sandy Redburn, owner of Crafty Secrets has been showing the New Releases for Crafty Secrets!! Today, I have a card to share with you using three of the New Release Stamp Sets--Antique Trims, Lacey Patterns and Vintage Silhouettes.
All of these stamp sets are Fantastic!! Antique Trims is a large stamp set and includes eight (8) antique style lace trims and borders. Lacey Patterns is a medium stamp set and includes five (5) block style lacey stamps and eight (8) little lacey elements. Vintage Silhouettes is a small stamp set and includes eleven (11) images and four (4) sentiments. I think Vintage Silhouettes is going to be a favorite of mine! 
I started by stamping the two borders from Antique Trims. Then I added a little color with a Copic marker, stamped the sentiment from Vintage Silhouettes added Baby Turquoise Rhinestones from Want2Scrap™ and added some glitter.
Here is a close up so you can see the stamped images and sparkling rhinestones and glitter.
For the top half of the card I stamped one of the Lacey Patterns images with Antique Linen ink. It is very light in the background (see close up picture below). Then I stamped the images and sentiment with Tuxedo Black ink. I added a little color using Copic Markers and then for a little sparkle I added Baby Turquoise Rhinestones from Want2Scrap™ and diamond glitter.
Here is a close up so you can see the Lacey Patterns background.
For the bow I used hand tinted seam binding and added a couple of trinket pins and a paper rose.

Spellbinders™ NEW Square Bracket Edge Box and Anemone Flower Topper
Hello blogging friends! Today, I have a fun little project to share with you using the NEW LF-010 Square Bracket Edge Box from Spellbinders™.
This little box is SO quick and easy to make!! It's just the perfect size for little gifts. 
Here is a photo of all the die cuts. The two larger die cuts are from LF-010 Square Bracket Edge Box. The patterned paper is K & Company from the Waterfall Collection. The flower and flower center die cuts are from S5-067 Anemone Flower Topper and the corners are from S5-062 Lace Doily Accents. All of the solid colored paper Simply Smooth Ivory, Razzleberry Light Prismatic and Honey Hopsack Treasure 80# is from Discount Cardstock.
Next I inked the flower die cuts with Color Box Merlot. For the flower center I used Dried Marigold Distress Ink and Antique Linen for the corner die cuts.
For a finishing touch I added Baby Bling Pink Rhinestones and a 72 Count Pearls Sage Green from Want2Scrap™ to the center of the flower.

Vintage Postage Stamp Card
Hello blogging friends! Today, I have a vintage postage stamp card to share with you. 
I love these tiny beautiful little images from the New Vintage Mini Creative Scraps from Crafty Secrets!! The Vintage Mini Creative Scraps sheet is filled with all kinds of sweet vintage images.
Here is a close up of the images. I layered the images on postage stamp die cuts. To create the die cuts I used the Grand Calibur™ and the New S4-348 Postage Stamps #2 die template from Spellbinders™. The Vintage Mini Creative Scraps fit perfectly on the postage stamp die cuts. I inked the die cuts with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and then edged them with Rich Cocoa Ink. Then I added some diamond glitter to the images. I used Sky Metallic cardstock, the Grand Calibur™ and S4-346 Labels Twenty-two #5 to create the label shape. For the embellishment I added hand tinted seam binding, a crochet flower, rhinestone and trinket pins. 
I used the New E8-005 Classic Postage Stamp Edgeabilites® from Spellbinders™ to create the decorative edge. I love the decorative edge with all the tiny little hearts cut out. Love the detail! 
For the card base I used Simply Smooth Ivory cardstock. I inked the edges with Antique Linen and Rich Cocoa. Then I stamped the design elements and sentiment using the French Mail Stamp Set from Crafty Secrets. For a finishing touch I added Baby Blue 72 Count Rhinestones from Want2Scrap™.

I am thrilled to be sharing two projects with you today using S4-345 Picot Edge Circles Nestabilities® Decorative Element and S4-351 Spiral Blossom One.
For my first project I designed a card.
Look at how absolutely gorgeous this rose is!! As so many of you know spiral or rolled rose have been so popular. They are fun, quick and easy to make but now with the S4-351 Spiral Blossom One die template you can create beautifully detailed edge roses and the die does all the work for you! On my card I create a larger double rose and two rose buds and I have a step-by-step tutorial to share with you.
I started out by using the Grand Calibur™ Machine to cut/emboss all of my die cuts. From the S4-345 Picot Edge Circles I cut/embossed #3 (#1 is the smallest) with Simply Smooth White, #4 with Soot and #1 with Green Crepe. Using the S4-351 Spiral Blossom One die template I cut four die cut shapes with Simply Smooth White cardstock. I used S4-321 Nested Leaves with Green Crepe t0 cut all of the leaves.
To create a two tone rose I inked the inside edge with Spun Sugar Distress Ink. Here is a little tip for inking the spiral blossom, slide the die cut in between two pieces of paper and ink and turn the die cut as you go. It's quick and easy and it will keep you from getting ink on the top of the petals.
Now comes the fun part, creating the flower. Start from the outer edge of the die cut and begin rolling the paper.
Keep rolling the blossom until you reach the larger end of the die cut. I like to roll the blossom pretty tight.
Then let go of the blossom and it will spin back opening up. Then I applied 3-in-1 Advanced Craft Glue from Beacon Adhesives to the bottom of the flower and held in place for just a little bit until the glue could take hold.
To create the next layer of the rose I used a foam pad and the end of my paper piercer to go in a circular motion on the petals. The petals will begin to take shape. If you don't have a paper piercer with a rounded end you can use a stylus, a pen or anything that has a round tip.
Adhere the first blossom onto the second one and begin to roll the flower. For this second layer I applied glue along the inside edge as I rolled.
Here is a picture of the larger rose with two little rose buds. I used the same steps to create the rose buds but I only rolled the first four petals. Then I added the small green crepe die cut from S4-345 Picot Edge Circles to the base of the rose bud and pinched the end. I used a bone folder and paper piercer to shape the petals. So you can see the difference the first rose bud in the picture is just rolled and the second has the petals shaped.

I inked all of the leaves with Peeled Paint Distress Ink.
For the sentiment I used Cl-02125 Signs of Life stamp set from JustRite Stampers. Then I added Nestabling™ Heart Circles Black Rhinestones. The Nestabling is made to go with S4- Heart Circles but it also works perfectly with S4-345 Picot Edge Circles.
Next I assembled the card as shown. I layered the two S4-345 Picot Edge Circle die cuts using 3D Foam Squares. Then I added the larger rose and the leaves. I added Swirls, Finesse White Pearls from Want2Scrap™ to the bottom and side of the card.
The rose buds were the last pieces I added to the card.

For my second project I altered a candy box.
I layered the S4-345 Picot Edge Circles to give the appearance of doilies and then I added three roses made with S4-351 Spiral Blossom to the center of the box.

I added 72 Count Red Pearls and Baby Bling LeCreme Pearls from Want2Scrap™ around the edges of the S4-345 Picot Edge Circles.
I trimmed the the outer edge of the box with a lace trim.

JustRite Stampers - New Releases for July - Trick or Treat and Halloween Mini Sentiments
Good morning! Today, I have a card to share with you using two New Releases from JustRite Stampers, JB-09910 Trick or Treat and JB-09808 Halloween Mini Sentiments. 
The JB-09910 Trick or Treat stamp set includes 4 Designer Centers with fun Halloween images to color and 4 Interchangeable Borders. The JB-09808 Halloween Mini Sentiments includes 18 sentiments. 
To start I stamped the image using Tuxedo Black ink on to Simply Smooth White Cardstock and then I started to add color with Copic markers.
Next I colored the leaves using to shades of green.
I finished off the coloring and added a nice glow around the pumpkin.
Here is a close up of the image. I used the Grand Calibur™, S4-314 Lacey Ovals and the NEW S4-346 Labels Twenty Two from Spellbinders™ to cut/emboss the shapes. 
To create the scallop along the bottom edge of the card I used the Grand Calibur™ and two of the NEW E8-001 Classic Scallop Edgeabilities from Spellbinders™. 
Here is a close up of the scalloped edge. I added Beautiful Bling Strips - Black Wave Rhinestones/Silver Pair and Black Bat Trim from Want2Scrap™ along the bottom edge. 
I stamped the Trick or Treat sentiment, cut it out, punched a hole and inked the edges and then tied onto the ribbon. I also added a few 72 Count Black Rhinestones and 72 Count Purple Rhinestone from Want2Scrap™. Both S4-346 Labels Twenty Two and E8-001 Classic Scallop Edgeabilities were revealed by Debbie Olson on day one of the Spellbinders Blog Frenzy. Here is a close up of the scalloped edge. I added Beautiful Bling Strips - Black Wave Rhinestones/Silver Pair and Black Bat Trim from Want2Scrap™ along the bottom edge. 
I stamped the Trick or Treat sentiment, cut it out, punched a hole and inked the edges and then tied onto the ribbon. I also added a few 72 Count Black Rhinestones and 72 Count Purple Rhinestone from Want2Scrap™.
