JustRite Papercraft Tutorial Tuesday - Quick and Easy Christmas Cards with a YouTube Video

Hello everyone!  It's Tutorial Tuesday with JustRite® Papercraft and today I will be sharing how you can using the clear stamps sets, background stamps and the SVG cut files to create quick and easy Christmas cards.  I know a lot of people make cards for the holidays and it's always nice to have some quick and easy ones especially if you make a lot of cards.

These are the three Christmas cards that I designed.  They are very quick and easy to create.  This is just kind of a starting point for the cards--if you want you could embellish them more or if you want flatter cards for mailing you could leave out the 3D Foam Squares.

To see more photos and find out all of the details you can hop on over to the JustRite Inspiration Blog or you can watch my YouTube video to see how each card was made.  Click HERE for the video.

JustRite Papercraft October New Release - Sweet Posies - Sweet Hello Card

Hello blogging friends!  Today, I have another New October Release to share with you from JustRite® Papercraft.

Here is the card that I designed using both the CL-02138 Sweet Posies Cling Stamps and CL-02124 Sweet Vine Cling Background Stamp from JustRite® Papercraft.  I stamped the image of the posies on to Strathmore Watercolor Paper using VersaMark ink and then heat embossed using white embossing powder.  Then I used Gansai Tambi 36 Colours Set (colors listed below) to watercolor the image.  Next I used S4-475 Fleur de Elegance to cut/emboss the piece of watercolor paper.

Here is a close up of the watercolor image and the decorative die cut.

I used the 95 Silver watercolor over top of the floral image to give it a pearl shimmer.

I stamped the sentiment using Grape Jelly ink and then I left the paper in the die templates and used it as a stencil adding the LuLu Lavender ink.  Here you can also see a little bit of the background stamped image.  I used the VersaMark ink and white embossing powder along with the CL-02124 Sweet Vine Cling Background Stamp.  Then I did a color wash using the 39 Purple watercolor.  To tone down the color I used a baby wipe to pull some of the color from the paper leaving a pretty lavender color.

To finish off the card I cut/embossed the S4-469 Labels Forty-One Decorative Accents shape and cut it in half and then I adhered each half to the top and bottom of the card.  I used 3D Foam Squares and EZ Runner® Permanent Strips-Refillable Dispenser 49' to adhere all of the pieces.  Then I added a few pearls.

Please be sure to visit each of the Design Team Members in the link list below to see what they have created to share with you.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hope you have a great weekend and Happy World Card Making Day!!!

The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store - 12 Days of CAS Christmas - Best Wishes Christmas Card.

Hello blogging friends!  Today, is my day to post for The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store and as part of the 12 Days of CAS Christmas I have another CAS Christmas card to share with you.

Here is the card that I designed using some of the beautiful papers from the Kaisercraft Yuletide 6.5 x 6.5 Paper Pad.  This CAS Christmas card is probably one of the quickest card I have ever made!  I think it only took about 5 minutes start to finish.  I layered a couple pieces of the pattern paper for the background and then I fussy cut the sentiment.  I added 3D Foam Squares to the back of the sentiment for a little added dimension.  Next I added a piece of  May Arts 3/8" Velvet Burgundy Ribbon along the side and then added a couple May Arts Faux Suede Leaves Gold and one of the flowers from Petaloo Botanica Minis Red to finish off the card.

Here is a close up of the sentiment and the flower.  I think the gold leaves really make the gold foil paper in the background pop.

I added all of the layers to an ivory card base.  So CAS and quick and easy to make!

As always you can click on each of the pictures to enlarge them.

Please be sure to check out The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store for all of the fantastic paper crafting products and the Blog for inspiration from the Design Team with fantastic CAS Christmas Cards.

JustRite October New Release Day Two - Color Outside the Lines Card

Hello blogging friends!  Today, is the second day of the JustRite Papercraft® October New Release.  If you missed the first day you can click HERE to hop on over to the JustRite Inspiration Blog.

Check out this fun stamp set! CR-02143 Colorful Brush Strokes Clear Stamps

Here is the card that I designed using this fun new stamp set.  I used Rose Bud, Tangelo, and Cantaloupe Memento Inks for this great color combination.  I randomly stamped the images to create the background.  Then I used  S5-131 A2 Matting Basics A to cut/emboss the mat.  Next I stamped the background for the sentiment using the same colors of ink as the background.  Then I stamped the sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  I also stamped another image using just the Rose Bud ink and then another sentiment.  I used S2-135 Conversation Bubble One to die cut both of the sentiments.  I also used S4-462 Labels Thirty-Nine along with raspberry cardstock to create a label.

I used the last little bit of my Zig Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen to add a bit of sparkle to the colorful images on the die cuts.

Love all the sparkle!

Here is a close up of the card front.  I used 3D Foam Squares to layer the die cuts. Then I added a paint brush with a pink bow.  To create the bow I used May Arts 1/2" Sheer with Satin Band Pink.  To finish off the card I added a few sequins.

Please be sure to check out all of the Design Team Members in the link list to see what they have created with this fun stamp set.

Everyday from September 29th - October 10th the Design Team will be sharing CAS (Clean And Simple) Christmas cards on The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store Blog.

Here is the card that I designed using some of the pretty BoBunny Candy Cane Lane Collection 6 x 6 Paper Pad.  I love all of the pretty pinks, blues and light green in this paper pad!  I cut one of the pattern pieces to fit the card front and then cut another piece a little smaller and layered the two together.  Next I die cut the S4-433 Snowflake Bliss, and S2-118 Holiday Sentiments die templates using ivory cardstock.  I used Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue to adhere the largest snowflake and the sentiment.  Then I used  3D Foam Squares to add the other layers.

Here you can see the layers of the snowflake.  I added Kaisercraft Sparklets-Rhinestone Clusters ClearLight Pink Rhinestones, and Silver Rhinestones for some sparkle.

The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store - Forever Starts Today Card with Prima

Good morning blogging friends!  Today, is my day to post for The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store and have a CAS (Clean And Simple) card to share with you using some of the beautiful papers from Prima Something Blue 6 x 6 Paper Pad.  I just love the beautiful floral prints in this paper pad.

Here is the card I designed.  I created a couple of die cuts using S5-211 Romantic Rectangles Two and inked the edges on the larger die cut with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Vintage Photo.  I fussy cut the sentiment and layered it on top of the die cuts using 3D Foam Squares.

I added some Venise Lace .75" - Lucia Ivory that you can see peaking out on the side.  Then I added some  Cream Seam Binding and Petaloo Botanica Minis Coral flowers.

To finish off the card I used an ivory cardstock base.  I know this sentiment is supposed to be for a wedding but I think it could also be used to give a friend who is maybe starting over in a career or maybe had a big move or something life changing.

As always you can click on all the photos to enlarge them and all of the supplies are listed below with links.

Spellbinders & A Gilded Life Crown Bezel Necklace

Hello everyone!  Today, I have a jewelry piece to share with you using one of A Gilded Life bezels from  Spellbinders Paper Arts®.  These little bezels are so fun to work with because you can create a little mini collage on the inside.  The bezels come with a clear plexiglass cover so you can fill the bezels with some fun little bits and add the cover or you could leave it off too.  You could also fill the bezels with resin.

I used the GLLB-003G Large Crown Bezel-Bronze along with the coordinating die template GLD-003 Crown Circle Die (Lg).  I die cut a piece from a vintage book page, inked the edges with Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Ink Vintage Photo.  Next, I used Mod Podge to glue the die cut inside the bezels.  I added a piece of vintage lace and then glued a tiny pearl heart in place.  Once the Mod Podge was dry then I added some tiny pearl beads and a few sequins.

I used Ranger Glossy Accents to glue the clear plexiglass cover in place.

To finish off the bezel I added ivory flat back pearls from Em's Emporium, a large jump ring from Butterbeescraps and some Sari Silk Ribbon from Hippie Chix Fiber Art.  This was such a fun and easy necklace to create and I can't wait to wear it!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Heidi

Chameleon Color Tone Markers with JustRite Papercraft Clear Stamps, ButterBeeScraps Filigrees, and a touch of Mixed Media - Love the Simple Things Card

Hello everyone!  Today, I have a beautiful floral rose card using the New Chameleon Color Tones Markers with a touch of mixed media.  This is the card I was planning on posting last week but my youngest son was sick with a really bad cold which turned in to an ear infection and he was home from school for a couple of days.  All is well now--he is feeling better and back to school.

Here is the card that I designed.  I love how the floral image turned out and it was so easy to color using the Chameleon Color Tones Markers.  With the different shades of pink and green how many different colors of markers do you think I used?  I think you might be surprised.  :)

Check it out--only 2 markers!  Are you surprised? I love how many color tones can be achieved with the Chameleon Color Tones Markers!  The Deluxe pen set includes 22 markers--20 Color Tone Markers, Black Fine Line Detail Pen, and a Colorless Blender Pen.  These are permanent alcohol ink pen system.  They are double-ended and have a super soft brush nib on one end and a bullet nib on the other end.  There is a refillable mixing chamber that has toning medium in it.  When the mixing nib and marker nib touch in the chamber this is where the magic happens and the color changes giving you multiple tones in one marker.

After I colored the image I then I die cut it using S5-131 Matting Basics A from Spellbinders Paper Arts®.  Next I used a doily stencil and applied Liquitex Light Modeling Paste.  When the paste was dry I inked around the floral image using Ranger Distress Inks-Antique Linen, Spun Sugar.

Here is a close up so you can see more of the detail from the stencil.

I wanted to modeling paste to pop a little more so I used white acrylic paint and dry brushed over parts of the paper.

Here is a close up so you can see more of the details.  I used a sentiment from the same stamp set and Rich Cocoa ink to stamp.  Then I used S4-462 Labels Thirty-Nine to cut/emboss the label shape.  I added Bronze Filigree Corners HD901-B and a Bronze Butterfly Charm.  I added some paints to the filigree pieces and buffed them so some of the metal would show through.  Then I used SS10 Clear AB Pointy Back Crystals and SS16 Clear AB Flat Back Crystals to accent the pieces.  To finish the card I added a few AB sequins.

Here is a close up of one of the corner filigree pieces.

I just love how this card turned out!  Please be sure to check out the New Chameleon Color Tones Markers.  Also--Monique, owner of ButterBeeScraps is on vacation so the store is currently closed but will reopen October 3rd.  I can't wait for her to open back up--she has new goodies to add to the store so be watching for an announcement on that.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Hugs & Smiles,
Heidi
