Crafty Secrets and Tattered Angels Blessings Tag -- Crafty Supply Sale

Good Afternoon! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I had a Fantastic weekend with the girls! We had to have a little change of plans due to the weather but it was still all good--lots of creating, good times, lots of laughs and great food!!

Before I share today's project I want to let all of the local ladies know that I am having a Craft Supply Sale this coming Friday & Saturday (19th & 20th). I have stamps, paper, embellishments, stickers, rub-ons and many more items from various companies. If you would like more details please email me for the address and times at: Floralfantasty@charter.net

Today, I have a decorative tag to share with you.
The beautiful image of the bird with the roses is from Crafty Secrets Little Blessings Creative Scraps. I think this is one of my favorite images on the Creative Scraps sheet! I also used several products from Tattered Angels including Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Glam, Glimmer Screens and Glimmer Glass.I started by using the Glimmer Screen (corner flourish) as a stamp. I brushed Chandelier Glimmer Glam on to the screen and then placed the screen on top of the tag to transfer the Glimmer Glam and then heat set to dry. The Glimmer Glam created a resit on the paper and then I added the different colors of Glimmer Mist. Once the background was done on the tag then I added all of the embellishments. I added the lace, then the blessings image and then the flower and buttons. I added the Glimmer Glass on the side with pearls from Prima. Here is a close up.I also added another piece of Glimmer Glass to the top of the tag and some vintage trim.

Supplies
Paper: WorldWin White
Accessories: Crafty Secrets Little Blessings Creative Scraps; Tattered Angels Popsicle, Waterslide, Sweet Clover, Tutti Fruitti, Patina Glimmer Mist, Cotton Candy Chalkboard Glimmer Mist, Chandelier Glimmer Glam. Glimmer Glass, Glimmer Screens; My Mind's Eye Decorative Buttons; Prima Pearls and Rhinestones; Webster's Pages Lace; Joann's Swirly Rhinestones; Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon, Trim; Aunt Gail Crochet Flower *wink*

Autumn Leaves Altered Canvas - Glimmer, Glaze & Glam

Hello! It's a beautiful Autumn day--the sun is shinning and the air is crisp. Love this weather! Today I have an Autumn Leaves Altered Canvas to share with you. Here is the canvas that I altered. I am so happy with how it turned out. It's been Glimmered, Glazed and Glamed--LOL!I started with a raw white canvas and covered it with White Acrylic Gesso. I pressed the leaves in with a wax paper and a brayer. Then I removed the wax paper and leaves and added the fine details to the leaves. Here is a photo when I started--sorry I don't have more photos of the process to share, my fingers were to messy to try and take photos at the time. I added several colors of Glimmer Mist, Glaze and Glam. (listed below)Once I achieve the look I wanted for the background then I added color to the leaves. After everything was dry then I added a Crystal Clear Glaze to the leaves. In person the leaves almost look like glass. Here is another photo at a different angle. To finish off the canvas I added letters at the bottom to spell Inspire. The letters are from the Regal Alpha Framed Fonts from Tattered Angels. I love how all of the colors blended together so wonderfully!

Supplies
White Canvas
Daler Rowney: White Acrylic Gesso
Tattered Angels: Crushed Shells, Tiger Lily, Sweet Clover, Suede, Patina, Sunshine Glimmer Mist, Wicked, Indian Summer Glimmer Glaze, Copper Kettle, Espresso Bean, Bordeaux, Dirty Martini Glimmer Glam, Regal Alpha Framed Fonts
Crystal Clear Glaze, Black Acrylic Paint, Paint Brush, Spatula, Brayer, Wax Paper

Thank you so much for stopping by today--I hope it's a Beautiful one!
