The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store - Kaisercraft Telegraph Road - You Had Me At Hello Card

Hello and Happy Monday to everyone!  Today, is my day to post for The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store and I have a fun card to share with you using some of the New pattern paper from the Kaisercraft Telegraph Road 6 1/2'' Paper Pad collection.

Here is the card I designed.  I love the images in this paper pad!  I didn't do any stamping or inking--just some fussy cutting, distressing and layers of paper with a few embellishments.  Oh, and did you see the beautiful Venise Lace?  LOVE It!!!  Sharon has a new collection of gorgeous Venise Lace in the store--really a must see and must have LOL!  

One of the great things about the paper pad is not only does it have fabulous papers but there is also a couple of pages with cutouts and die cuts--gotta love that!  I used A2 Matting Basics A and S5-132 A2 Matting Basics B die templates to create the mats.  Then I layered the paper and added Venise Lace .75" - Lucia Ivory, 1/4" Silk Ribbon by May Arts White, and Prima Flowers Anna Marie.  Then I fussy cut and distressed a couple of the cutout images from the paper pad and layered them.  

Here is a close up of the notebook paper piece.  Notice the top of it is cut to look like it was ripped out of a notebook.  It's really quick and easy to get that look.

I used a very tiny hole punch--about a 2mm.  I punched out the holes going across the top of the paper.

Then I made tiny little cuts to snip out the top of the paper.  I ran my finger across the top of couple of times to give it a more worn look--like if it was just ripped out of a notebook and then I attached it to the card front.  

I love it when cards come together so quick and easy like this!  To finish off the card I added a few Prima Sugar Dots Everyday Vintage.
