Hello blogging friends! Today, is Day One of the JustRite® Papercraft March Release and we have something exciting to share with you! JustRite® Papercraft now has SVG Files available to match some of the stamp sets!!
Here is a look at the stamp set and SVG file we are showcasing today.
SVG-02018 SVG Stitched Flowers Vintage Tags Digital Cut Download for CR-02018 The blue shaded items in the product photo represent the images you will get in your download.
Here is the card that I designed using both the CR-02018 Stitched Flower Vintage Tags Clear Stamps and SVG-02018 SVG Stitched Flowers Vintage Tags Digital Cut Download for CR-02018 from JustRite® Papercraft. For my card I used the exact cut file.
The SVG Files will allow you to be able to cut with and offset or and exact cut. Here is a picture so you can see the to two different cuts side by side. The first one is the offset cut and the flowers on the card are the exact cut.
I have a tutorial to share with you on how I stamp the exact cuts. I remove all of my cuts from the mat and when I do this I put a little X on the back of the cut. This way if I don't stamp everything right away I will know with a quick glance the front and back of the cut. I place the stamp on an acrylic block (face up) and before inking the stamp I place the cut on top of the stamp and line it up to match.
Next I apply a little bit of adhesive from E-Z Dots® Repositionable adhesive to an acrylic block with a grid.
Then I press the acrylic block with adhesive down on top of the cut. When I do this I use the grid to line up areas on the grid as a visual for when I stamp (see X's). I lift the block straight up and the cut is on one block and the stamp is on the other. Ink up the stamp and then remember the lines on the grid for lining up the cut with the stamp.
Stamp. ;-)
Perfect results! ;-) I used Mix'd Media Inx Jasmine to stamp on to the Kraft cardstock.
I used Prismacolor Colored Pencils to add just a hint of color to the images.
Here is a close up of the butterfly and the tag with the sentiment. To create the tag I used one of the die templates from the S5-211 Romantic Rectangles Two set from Spellbinders Paper Arts®.
Here is a close up of the flowers. I added pink buttons for the flower centers. I also used my
Zig Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen brush pen to add some sparkle to the card.
Here is a look at some of the offset cuts that I colored and will be on an upcoming project.
I hope you enjoyed the stamping tutorial and the card. I am really excited to be using the SVG files--they are going to be a lot of fun!
Please be sure to visit each of the Design Team Members in the link list below to see what they have created to share with you.
