Crafty Secrets Sew Sweet Altered Canvas

Hello! Today, I have an altered canvas to share with you using several products from Crafty Secrets. The canvas is a 8 x 10 size. It started out white and I applied Suede Glimmer Mist and Cotton Candy Chalk from Tattered Angels. Once the canvas was dry I painted the outer edges (sides) with Chocolate Brown acrylic paint. Then used the script stamp from Artsy Banner stamp set from Crafty Secrets and randomly stamped using Rich Cocoa ink. I also stamped a couple of the images from Material Girl stamp set from Crafty Secrets in the background. All of the vintage paper images are from Sew Nice Creative Scraps from Crafty Secrets. I love this sweet image of the little girl. I hand cut the image, stamped a sentiment at the top and added some Diamond Stickles to the dress and apron. I used 3-in-1 Advanced Craft Glue from Beacon Adhesives to adhere and of the paper images to the canvas. Here is a close up of the tag. I added some Diamond Stickles to the bird, flowers and the lady at the top.I added a dress form with a piece of lace and a button tied to the side. The chipboard dress form is from Maya Road Still Sew Cute Chipboard set. I painted the dress form antique white and then inked the edges.Along the bottom I added lace trim from Prima, Ivory Rose Trim from Maya Road and a cluster of embellishments including Trinket Pins from Maya Road, a Crochet Antique Blue Flower from Kaiser Craft, Crinkle Seam Binding and a thimble. I used Fabri-Tac from Beacon Adhesives to attach all of the ribbon and lace trim to the canvas.I made a banner to go across the top of the canvas using the Artsy Banner stamp set and then I used small images from Artsy Banner and Sew Special stamp sets. I edged the banner with Diamond Stickles.I also added some Swirls 2010 White Pearls from Want2Scrap and a border of antique white and ivory buttons going all around the outer edges of the canvas. I used 3-in-1 Advanced Craft Glue to adhere all of the buttons and then I applied Gem-Tac from Beacon Adhesives with a small paintbrush to all of the buttons and then added glitter.
