Happy Cinco de Mayo! Crafty Secrets $50 Giveaway Winner!! Altered Shadowbox

Happy Cinco de Mayo!! I always remember Cinco de Mayo Day because it's also my birthday. ;-) Eric and I went out for a wonderful birthday lunch at Plaza Morena. They have the BEST Mexican food around and the strawberry margaritas are pretty yummy too!

I have a project to share with you today and I must say I had so much fun making it! I took a little time just to make something for me and something fun. I don't have a tutorial but I do have several pictures with close-up details to share with you. I created an altered shadow box.But before I get to the shadow box I have to announce the winner of the $50.00 Giveaway from Crafty Secrets! I used Random.org to pick a winner and the lucky winner is...

drum roll please.........................True Random Number 131

Congratulations Kim!!!
I will be emailing you with all of the details. Happy Shopping!!!

I also want to thank all of you so very much for visiting my blog and all of your wonderful comments for National Scrapbooking Day!! THANK YOU!!!!

Ok now on to the shadow box. The 3D Landscape Shadowbox Frames and 3D Portrait Shadowbox Frames can be purchased at Crafty Secrets. Each package includes 3 sets in assorted colors.
All of the cut out images are from the Creative Scraps Altered Fairies sheet from Crafty Secrets and I added glitter to the images.I tried to get a nice close-up showing the glimmer mist. This is so pretty with all of the glimmer and sparkle! I also used Flower Soft to give the appearance of moss. The sentiment, Believe in Yourself is simple but true! The frame is from Tattered Angels and the roses are from Prima and I added some chunky glitter to them. The rhinestones are from My Mind's Eye.
