The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store Easter Week - Four New Stamp Sets! - I Am The Resurrection and The Life Card - Giveaway!

Hello blogging friends!  Today, is my day to post for The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store and I will be share an Easter card with you plus four NEW and beautiful stamp sets from The Stamp Simply Clear Stamps Collection.  The new stamp sets are so wonderful and are filled with some of the most beautiful bible verses and sentiments.  All during this week the design team is sharing lovely cards using the four new stamps sets and we are each having a giveaway on our blogs.

Here is a look at the card I designed using the Stamp Simply Clear Stamps - SS-Sent006 Easter.  Like I said the verses and sentiments in the four stamp sets are so beautiful and I love the fonts too.  For my card I started with a light blue card base.  I embossed the pick mat using the Darice Embossing Folder - Bold Floral.  Then I die cut a piece of white cardstock using the Spellbinders Labels Thirty-Nine die and I stamped the verse using VersaMark Ink and heat embossed using Ranger Super Fine Detail Gold Embossing Powder.  I used the Die D-Lites - Crosses Three along with Bazzill Gold Mirror Cardstock to die cut the cross.

Here is a close up for the cross.  I added some May Arts Metallic Gold String and a flower from the Petaloo Botanica Collection Minis Pink and a few Melissa Frances White Pearls.  I also used Therm-O-Web Foam Squares in between some of the layers to add some dimension to the card.

To finish off the card I stacked two of the sentiments from the same stamp set and heat embossed in gold on white cardstock.

  1. Your card is beautiful. I lean toward CAS cards, so that is what I would most like to see, but I do enjoy your vintage and more detailed cards. I am most thankful to have a loving, supportive husband and a very good life.

  2. your card is so classic. Gods Word always stands out to bring new life so the recipient of yours will too! It's so pretty as well. I am thankful for the Holy Spirit in my life as I cannot have such joy and understanding without Him. As for the media I would like to see more of is watercoloring. (Because I am so lousy at it). You have so many areas you excell in but maybe this is unfair to ask as I haven't seen much in the way of watercoloring on your blog. Thanks Heidi for the chance to win a stamp set!

  13. A beautiful card! I am grateful for all the blessings God has given me - I have always received what I need; which is not always what I have asked for. I like CAS cards and am drawn to the shabby chic look.

  16. I am thankful for technology. I know that sounds odd but without it I would not have two working knees that are not my own. mobility is such a blessing and effects so much of where I get my joy from. i'm thankful everyday for that. I like a wide variety of projects. I love when all of the products and details are listed. I like to learn new techniques too and I love new and different card folds. again I am thankful for technology that gives us the wonderful internet and digital storing capabilities. it keeps "my space" less cluttered. thanks for sharing with us. your card is gorgeous and I love that there are scripture sentiments available.

  20. What a beautiful card. The gold on the card makes it so elegant. My greatest blessing in life is this Savior who died for me so that I could have Eternal Life if I would only believe. Its as easy as the verse says just believe.
