Hello blogging friends! Today, is the first day of the JustRite® Papercraft August New Release! We have several beautiful new stamps sets, coordinating SVG file, and die templates so share with you. For the first day of the New Release the Design Team will be sharing projects made with one of the new stamp sets and two new background stamps.
Here is the card that I designed using CR-02112 Hope and Love Vintage Labels Eight and Nine Clear Stamps. For the background I stamped the roses using VersaMark Ink and then I used white embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool. Then I used Distress Markers-Broken China, Mowed Lawn, Picked Raspberry with a little bit of water to watercolor the background paper.
I used painters tape to tape down the watercolor paper. Then I heat embossed and added watercolor to the paper. I love how the colors turned out so soft and dreamy!
Here is a close up of the background paper.
Next I used the same stamp and added color using Distress Markers- Mowed Lawn and Picked Raspberry.
I added water to the image to blend and fade it out. Then I heat set the paper. After that was done I used JB-02087 Vintage Labels Eight Dies to cut/emboss the label shape and then stamped and embossed the sentiment and I edged the label with metallic gold.
Here is a close up of the sentiment. I used gold embossing powder and I added some sequins too.
Here is a close up of the background. I added some Stampendous-Aged Ivory Embossing Enamel and Aged Gold Embossing Enamel for another layer and some texture.
To finish the card I distressed the edges of the watercolor paper and added some May Arts Silk Ribbon Tiffany Blue and Metallic Gold String. Then I added the background to a pink cardbase.
