For my project I made a St. Patrick's Day centerpiece.
I used three of the ribbons in the February Ribbon Club from Really Reasonable Ribbon, S5-114 Spectacular Spin Cut, Fold & Tuck dies and S4-114 Standard Circles Large die templates from Spellbinders and CR-03640 Spring Words stamp set from JustRite Stampers to create a medallion.
I used pattern paper and foil for the S5-114 Spectacular Spin Cut, Fold & Tuck dies and layered all of the pieces using 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. Then I added the stamped image from CR-03640 Spring Words to the center and added a little color with a Copic marker.
Here is the back of the medallion, as you can see I cut strips of the ribbon and used a hot glue gun to adhere the ribbon. I made a ribbon loop in the back and then threaded another piece of ribbon to be able to tie the medallion on to the jar.
I added some Clear Rhinestones (coming soon!) from The Rubber Cafe and then added a little color to them using a Copic marker.
I made a little Good Luck tag using S5-105 Floral Tags from Spellbinders and CR-03640 Spring Words stamp set from JustRite Stampers.
To make the ribbon accents in the bouquet just make a loop, leave a little tail and wrap the end with wire.
Since I was using silk flowers and had no need for water I filled the jar with white buttons (I have a few on hand LOL) and the buttons work great to hold the flowers in place.
Now to continue in the blog hop you need to hop on over to Misty's Blog and check out her fantastic project!
