3rd of July Parade and 4th of July Fireworks

Good morning! I hope everyone had a Happy 4th of July!! We had a really nice weekend with family, good food, the parade, a little R&R and the fireworks. I have a picture filled post for you today. Several years ago our town switched the 4th of July Parade to the 3rd of July so there could be more entrants and have a larger parade. It's kind of nice because it stretches out the festivities for a couple of days. We live on one of the main streets in our town which just so happens to be the street for the parade. So for the past several years we always have a big cook out at our house & have everyone over for the parade. Here's a few pictures from our weekend. The theme for the parade this year was Hometown Heroes.
Drum Line from the Albert Lea Marching Band.
Yummy food!!Eric, the "Grill Master". He did an excellent job!!Evan doing a fist bump with the bear. This was the Gorgeous sunset down by the lake. They shoot the fireworks off from the beach.Evan waiting and waiting and waiting---how many more minutes? LOL!!It's getting darker... The sunset is always so beautiful down by the lake. The fireworks were amazing!!! Evan was thrilled--we ended the night with sparklers. I love how this picture turned out!!

I have more picture that I will be sharing over the next day or so. I hope everyone had a Happy and Safe 4th of July!!! Thank you so much for stopping by!! Have a Great Monday!

Hugs & Smiles,
Heidi
