JustRite Font - New Spellbinders Die Templates -Spread Your Wings Layout

Hello! Today I have a scrapbook layout to share with you using the JustRite Fonts for the title and several of the NEW Spellbinders™ Die Templates. When the S4-299 Fallen Angel die template set arrived in the mail I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it for a layout. My oldest son has the perfect shirt to go with the wings in the S4-299 Fallen Angel die template set. So I asked him if I could Please snap a few photos---he's the best & he loves the color purple!! *wink*Here is the layout I created.I started with the sentiment using JustRite Stampers , JB-08060 Times New Roman Uppercase Font, JB-08605 Times New Roman Lowercase Font, JB-08080 Special Occasions Font and JB-09520 Clear Horizontal Stamper 2-3/8'' x 4'' to create a custom title. I used S4-290 Labels Fourteen Die #5 die template from Spellbinders™ to create the diecut. Before placing the die template onto the cardstock I inked the inside edges (cut side) of the S4-290 Labels Fourteen Die #5 die template with Versa Magic Spring Pansy ink to create a Reverse Stencil. Next I used the Copic airbrush system and Copic markers B00, 100, V17 to airbrush the label. I added the diecut elements made from S4-300 Heraldry die templates and silver shimmer cardstock and blue rhinestones.I used the same die template from the S4-300 Heraldry die template set to create a border on the layout and added blue rhinestones. While I was demoing the Grand Calibur™ at CHA in the Spellbinders™ Booth I saved a few of the diecuts from the Grand Nestabilities™ to take home. I thought they would be fun to play with and see what I could create! This is the largest die template, die #6 in the LF-190 Grand Labels Four die template set. LOVE IT!!! Is that Huge or what? The Labels Four diecut measures 6'' x almost 9-1/2''!!! The Grand Nestabilities™ are going to be so much fun to play with!!!Here is a close-up of the heart and wings--I think the picture of my son looks fantastic with these diecuts!!

As you can see from the picture above I have three die templates all on the base plate and I will be able to cut and emboss with all of these die templates on the plate at the same time!! How exciting is that? Start with the Base Plate, then die templates with the cut side up and then the Cutting Plate. Here's the diecuts after the first past through the Grand Calibur™ and every little piece cut!! The next step is to emboss using the Tan Embossing Pad and the Pink Embossing Plate.

Here is a picture of all of the diecuts. **for the card I didn't use the boarder diecut.
Next stamp the sentiment from the Just A Note stamp set from JustRite using the Clear 1-5/8'' Round Stamper and blue ink.
After all of the diecuts are made ink the edges (except for the Petite Scallop Circle).
Next add all of the diecut piece to the front of the card as shown in the photo. I used 3D Foam Squares from SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES By 3L™ to add a little dimension.

Hello! I am at CHA but I have a couple of posts that I am scheduling for this week while I am gone. For today's post I have a pair of earrings to share with you that I creating. They were very quick and easy to make. The main material that the earrings are made out of is Shimmer Sheetz, iridescent and metallic Mylar. After I made the diecuts I layered them using 3-in-1 Advanced Craft Glue from Beacon. Once the glue was dry then I punched holes into the two ends and added the jewelry findings and pearls at the bottom. For a finishing touch I added a pearly button (with the shank removed) to the center. Like I said very quick and easy. These earrings and fast to make and fun to where!

I used Gold Shimmer cardstock for the card base. After I cut/embossed the crown then I sanded the embossed area. For the sentiment I used two of the font sets from JustRite Stampers, Special Occasions Font 25 pt and Times New Roman Font 25 pt along with the Clear Horizontal Stamper. The sentiment was my husbands idea. *wink* Next I taped the die template in place and then cut/embossed to create a diecut. Crafty Secrets - Look who's turning 80 - Happy Birthday Card

Good morning! Today, I have a special card to share with you (special to me). Today is my Grandpa's 80th Birthday---Happy Birthday Grandpa!!! Last weekend we had our family reunion and since everyone was home we celebrated my Grandpa's birthday last weekend. I wanted to make a fun but special card for him--something that would make him smile whenever he looked at it. Here is the card I created. The top right picture is my grandpa when he was in 1st or 2nd grade (I was going to ask him & I forgot), the bottom right is his graduation picture and the left one in a more recent picture. I used the Sexy Little Number stamp set from Crafty Secrets. This is a fun stamp set!! The sentiment and image was stamped on to white cardstock with black ink and colored with Copic markers. The diecut was made using S4-290 Label Fourteen die #3 from Spellbinders™. I left the paper in place and airbrushed with the Copic Airbrush System, marker B23 and added a few black rhinestones. The tag was created using S4-235 Fancy Tags die templates from Spellbinders™. The sentiment is from the Sexy Little Number stamp set from Crafty Secrets. I stamped the sentiment with black ink and inked the edges of the tag. I added 3D Foam Squares to add a little dimension. For the background I used the Copic Airbrush System and Copic marker 100 Black with the Flourish Impressabilities™ as a stencil. I also added a little flourish up in the corner. I used S4-121 Doodle Parts to create the flourish and I added a few more black rhinestones.

Supplies~
Stamps: Crafty Secrets Sexy Little Number
Paper: WorldWin Belgium Blue, Black, White Cardstock; Royal & Langnickle-Silver Foil Engraving Art
Ink: Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black; Copic Markers B23 Phthalo Blue, 100 Black
Dies: Spellbinders™ S4-235 Fancy Tags, S4-290 Label Fourteen die #3, S4-121 Doodle Parts
Accessories: Spellbinders™ Wizard™, I2-1009 Flourish; Copic Airbrush System; My Mind's Eye Black Lush Rhinestones; SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES By 3L™ 3D Foam Squares, Crafty Power Tape

Here's a few pictures from my Grandpa's birthday.
Grandpa with his birthday cake. I love this picture his smile just makes me smile! *wink*Grandpa with his card--he thought it was pretty neat! After passing the card around one of my cousins said omgosh I can't believe how much Evan looks like Grandpa when he was little! Everyone had to take a second look at the picture and sure enough if Evan had his hair like grandpa's in the picture and a more serious look it would be a match! So we had to take a picture of Grandpa and Evan together. Here is my Grandpa looking at an altered book/scrapbook that my aunt Gail designed. It was so cool!! The cover of the book was made from an old pair of jeans and the inside was filled with pictures from my Grandpa's life and places for journaling. My aunt Gail designs some Amazing stuff!! Here is everyone (my mom's brothers and sisters) looking at the altered book. L--->Right: Grandma, my Mom, cousin Joanna, uncle Brian, Grandpa, uncle John, uncle Gary, aunt Gail & aunt Cory. Here's a group picture of my Grandpa with all of his kids. It's so strange as you get older--you know you are getting older and so is everyone else but it's hard to believe my Grandpa is 80, to me he is still 60 something and and my mom and aunts and uncles are all 40 something and I am 20 something--LOL! To bad we couldn't just stop time!! When I was little I spent so much time on the farm with my Grandpa and I have so many wonderful memories that I hold close to my heart. Happy Birthday Grandpa--I Love you!!!

Thank you so much for stopping by today and letting me share a little art and a little bit of my life with you! Woo-Hoo it's Friday!! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
